I don't remember this 70s product, but it made me laugh when I saw the ad in a retro section of the news today.

I've always looked for bras that minimize that "cold weather look" myself.
Wonder how many women long for nipple attention.
Maybe this product can be updated to include a nipple ring option and reintroduced into the market? Yeah, probably not.

Maybe it was a luxury item? Nipples are kind of a fashion accessory for some, I guess.
If getting attention was the goal, those nipples at 2k probably had a better ROI than a designer bag at the same price.
IDK. I'm not a big spender. If I wanted that look, I'd just carry around one of those long-lasting ice packs in my bag and go bra-less.

I would never have purchased something like that. I view it as I do the panties that are supposed to give a girl a lovely, rounded butt because they are padded. I think it's ridiculous, good for a laugh but dumb.

I researched. There's a tiny decimal point in there that you can see if you look closely; it was $20.00.
I don't know how you'd ever get a person to look you in the eyes with one of those on. Seriously.
ETA: I used to walk home with a group of young girls and this one girl had a big rack (early) and she often wore shirts that showed her pointy nips. I could not tear my eyes away and I was freaking embarrassed about that. Probably the only time I really questioned my sexuality.

My nipples already poke through my bras unless it's heavily padded. If I wore that thing and it didn't match up with my real nipples it would look like I had four of them.

When I'm messing around the house bra-less in a t-shirt and jeans, the nipples aren't hiding most of the time - doesn't have to be cold. My guy likes the natural rolled outta bed look (thankfully); I get the attraction.
I just don't want that same kind of attention from strangers in public.
It was the 70s though; wonder if the Nipple Bra makers were trying to capitalize on the Farrah craze at the time.

It's interesting. $120 for a bra is pretty damn steep.I didn't even really question $2k for a bra (which would have been more like $8k back then, haha).
I guess knowing that some women are spending tens of thousands to make their lips look like duck's and their faces look like balloons, not much surprises me when it comes to the price of vanity.
Bet there's some nipple injection business going on that we just haven't heard about yet. Gotta be. Rejvajination is apparently big biz already, so it stands to reason...
