Taxes - Maggot - 02-02-2015 Lets see how much I can pay Pedro, Anita, Malcolm Mohamed III and Becky in the trailer park this year! Have you seen some of those trailer parks, it takes a lot of taxes for their up keep! RE: Taxes - Maggot - 02-02-2015 Some are OK people take care of their places their in a co-op and its fine. Others are filed with Government subsidized housing and they just don't care because they only pay the minimum to live there. Sure you see a few that look nice but there's always a few next to them that the people never mow their lawns and the kids just roam around in rags and a bunch of junk shit sits around almost every corner mowers, pools that stink, all kinds of fun nastiness. RE: Taxes - Duchess - 02-02-2015 Some people have never worked hard in order to have what they want. When someone does that they usually take pride in what they have. I can't imagine not wanting more than a bare existence. RE: Taxes - sally - 02-03-2015 I'd gladly pay Pedro, Anita, Malcolm Mohamed III and Becky if that meant I could avoid doing my own taxes. And this is just one side of the room today. The other side is covered too, the picture doesn't do it justice. That's just sorting it out into folders, I still have to add it all up before going to the accountant. Puke. RE: Taxes - username - 02-04-2015 I am resolving NOT to file a damn extension this year. They make us pay a huge estimated amount by April 15 anyway so it's not like we get to hold the money and earn interest on it till October. My husband uses pre-tax dollars for his business expenses and stuff now so I don't have to tally those up for the CPA anymore. Bottom line, it's pretty easy for me to compile the information but I still tend to procrastinate. We get to deduct only medical expenses that exceed 10% of my husband's income. It's a golden problem; on the one hand, we spent a freaking ton of money in medical expenses last year (a huge amount that wasn't reimbursed by insurance). On the other hand, my husband makes enough that after I add them all freaking up (that's going to be my PITA), we'll probably get to write off like $100 or something. lol. Got a voice mail at home yesterday saying that it was from the Internal Revenue Services (the "services" should have tipped me off) saying they were filing a lawsuit against us and that this was our final notice. I called the number back (in an abundance of caution) and it was a fucking advertisement for magicJack. If I had nothing better to do, I'd report them to somebody. Assholes. RE: Taxes - Midwest Spy - 02-05-2015 No extension needed here. I claim 0 withholdings through the year, so am assured of a nice refund. I was really trying to be sarcastic, unsuccessfully I see. I'm not a big fan of trailer parks either. I have no problem with them being anywhere other then them being close to me! You could be earning interest on or otherwise investing that money instead of letting the IRS hold on to it for you. RE: Taxes - Maggot - 02-05-2015 I didn't know my medical could be deducted. It was over 300,000.00 last year. I'm only good for 1⁄2 a million each year. Then they shut me down. On second thought maybe I should just leave it be. It only cost 6000.00 for that. Yeah, I'm just gonna let it slide. It might be like kicking a bees nest. As I get it, anything over 10% of your AGI are deductible (and that's only the amounts that AREN'T aren't covered by insurance or paid via pre-tax dollars). You have to spend a lot and/or earn not very much to take advantage of that deduction. Sucks. Wise to be prudent, then sorry! RE: Taxes - sally - 02-06-2015 Everyone compliments it. I wish I did my whole house in it because even when it's dirty it looks clean. RE: Taxes - cannongal - 02-07-2015 We do our taxes somewhere around April 20th, sometimes later. We're procrastinators. RE: Taxes - Maggot - 02-07-2015 Ready for 22" cannonball?
