WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - Duchess - 02-24-2015 We all care about our families, that's a given but what do you value in life that's not a person? RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - crash - 02-24-2015 Honesty and integrity. RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - username - 02-24-2015 (02-24-2015, 09:40 AM)crash Wrote: Honesty and integrity. Good choices. Peace of mind. That never would have been high on my list until I regularly seemed to stop having any. RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - ramseycat - 02-24-2015 Piece of mind as well. Honesty and loyalty and love and all that jazz. But mostly I just crave peace. RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - Duchess - 02-24-2015 I value the things you all have mentioned, honesty, integrity, peace of mind and I value time too. I've lived my life always thinking I would have time but my reality has been that time runs out for some things. I didn't value time enough but I do now. Time & good health are paramount! One is not much good without the other. Wealth couldn't hurt either! RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - Older Than Dirt - 02-24-2015 I value my faith, the good times and my safe ! RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - Maggot - 02-24-2015 My nose......It's saved my ass more than once. RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - sally - 02-24-2015 I agree that time is the most valuable. There never seems to be enough and better make the best of it because eventually you run out of it permanently. RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - Clang McFly - 02-24-2015 Peace of mind, time, faith, responsibility(I know I failed in that area the last few years, but with my job and taking care of dad after mom died I feel Im improving) RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - Cutz - 02-25-2015 Selflessness. This was a pub I was at the other day and these are just the drafts that were in front of me. They wrapped all around the bar. I liked the Scottish ale with the blue handle the best. It had a cream on top and hints of coffee and hazelnuts. I tried one once and it tasted like a combination of gasoline and dishwasher detergent. Smuttynose was its name. My local grocery store Wegman's, AKA best damn grocery store in the known universe, has a frigging huge selection of microbrews and ales and anything beer-related. Talking hundreds of them.(02-25-2015, 02:21 PM)Blindgreed1 Wrote: A finely crafted IPA But I never could make myself like beer enough to stick with it. I thought originally it was my early exposure to skunk beer like Budweiser and Coors, but even the fancy stuff just doesn't do it for me. RE: WHAT DO YOU VALUE? - sally - 02-26-2015 I've always loved the taste of beer. When I was little I use to sneak sips of my dad's beer when he wasn't looking. I didn't even know people drank it to get drunk, all I knew was that it tasted like an awesome soda that's only for old people. We don't have Wegman's here. We have Publix which is pretty decent but pricey. If you want cheap you have to go to Winn Dixie where shopping is not a pleasure. |
