MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT - Duchess - 03-18-2015

They are making a mockery of marriage.

The couples are complete strangers who first meet at the alter. The show follows them from the alter, on to the honeymoon and then settling down into life as a married couple. These are all people who have found themselves unlucky in love and decided to give this a shot. It's a goddamn reality show.

hah I'd rather be alone. You?

Daniel Craig is a stranger, to me. I'd do him.

I wish Sam Elliot WAS a stranger.

I hope you stick around for a while Tiki.

But, I won't try to bribe you into it or anything.

P.s. Daniel Craig is registering for Mock and I believe he'll be posting tasteful nudes in the Members Only forum any time now.

Last anniversary my wife said "It's your special day, you can blindfold me and tie me up and do anything you want". So I tied her up and blindfolded her, then went fishing.

I'd give this a shot. If it works out then YAY! If not, I'm back to my weird lonely life. Not much worse for wear.

My choice to be alone has affected a few relationships, but i have always been a private person, and tend to be somewhat reclusive (and super picky).
I know that makes me very shallow which I admit to. I do prefer alone time so guess that makes me somewhat odd. I did watch this Married At First Sight during first season and I was surprised that 2 out of the 3 couples are still married. That is not too bad for an arranged marriage. At first one of the women (very attractive, but can't remember names) wasn't attracted to her "husband" and had a hard time at first, but she grew to love him. She was not physically attracted to him at time of marriage ceremony and I found that very interesting...Human behavior is fascinating. I would personally be difficult to live with as I am also selfish. Some of my friends disagree, but friends do lie to make you feel better.

I don't think people should be dickin' around with marriage in such a cavalier fashion.

RE: MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT - ramseycat - 03-19-2015

Divorce is so common place these says that people don't take marriage seriously.

Many people today think of (treat) a marriage certificate like a "learners permit", and have no qualms of quitting the whole thing if/when hitting a rough patch.
Till death do depart, no longer applies. hah Always changing times!

RE: MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT - QueenBee - 03-19-2015

Fuck that. I would rather stay alone. I am too old for this crap. Too many younger people see marriage as temporary anyway. We had an argument? Divorce. Tired of partner? Divorce.

Why not?

I have an old fashioned idea of marriage. I think it's something to be taken seriously and not be thrown away at the drop of a hat. I also see it as terrifying because of my view of it.

There are solutions.
