. . . for me to sneak into the woods at 3am , quietly hide and wait to ambush some deer. Hope I kill something this weekend, my trigger finger is getting itchy. See yall later and hopefully with some pics of bloody lifeless deer.

You be quiet, mister. Don't you have some hooters to ogle?

Hopefully in a few hours.

Think I'm finally out of the doghouse.

Thanks MS.
I still don't know what I want to use yet. I cant decide if I want to take the shotgun and the handgun, or just the handgun. I guess I will figure that out in the morning.

My step-dad has been going to his deer camp for 60 years.

Frickin' loves everything about it. I personally don't hunt, but I'm happy for those that enjoy it.

As I said, good luck. Hope you get a 14-pointer.

You guys have a late season. We're done in 2 more days.

We have so many seasons here in Ia. there's youth , early muzzy, early bow, shotgun , shotgun 2, late bow, late muzzy and I am sure I am forgetting some. Starts in mid sept [I believe] and runs to mid jan, between all the seasons.

You're not impressed by somebody who ambushes deer for the purpose of bragging over their bloody lifeless bodies?

I went to Pennsylvania a few times and its like a fishing derby there. A person can bring home 3-4 deer but their small.

We have any sex tags as well as antlerless tags. First tag is $25 and every one after that is $10 .

What size do you get? I think the largest this year was around 240 lbs.

RE: It's that time of the year . . . - F.U. - 12-04-2015

They are corn fed here so they get rather large. We process outv own so I cant tell exactly what the weight is, but I am sure they go about what yours do. I have a Biker Brother that lives in jersey and from the pics I send him he said ours smoke his.

RE: It's that time of the year . . . - Maggot - 12-04-2015

Corn fed? How do you know that? Do you hunt along fields of corn?

RE: It's that time of the year . . . - F.U. - 12-04-2015

Yes. Iowa is covered in them.

RE: It's that time of the year . . . - Mohammed - 12-04-2015

Hunting Deer with a shotgun? I would have never thought.

I just love hunting. In Africa it was every time I move thru a herd of Gazelle's, Wildebeest or even Zebras, I just see them nicely roasting away and me glazing them. Every single time!

RE: It's that time of the year . . . - SIXFOOTERsez - 12-04-2015

I heard Iowa deer had some kind of wasting disease?
Might be a different area

RE: It's that time of the year . . . - F.U. - 12-04-2015

The shotgun I use is essentially a large bore rifle. It gas a fully rifled barrel that is ported to reduce recoil. I have a 3-9x40 power scope mounted on it and it shoots sabot slugs that cost over $2.50 a piece. These aren't your average bird guns.
