It looks like shit and pisses me off. I didnt mind her until now. There was plenty of room to put paved walkways without removing the trees and why remove those beautiful flowers. Asshole should be shot. That would be like me removing the big majestic winding oaktree in front of my house and saying oh that looks much better now.

The resulting Rose Garden was a rousing success, and though minor changes have been made over the years—Nancy Reagan brought Mellon back to the White House to consult on changes to the space—the template the Kennedys set has largely stayed in place.
