CELL PHONE ETIQUETTE - Duchess - 11-16-2016
Is it okay to tell dinner guests to turn their phones off or to put them on vibrate only? I'm not talking about eating burgers at a picnic table, I'm talking about a lovely dinner party.

I would hope the people you're dining with would already know that, but, if not, by all means tell them.

I do it. I have been in the cell phone industry for 32 years and I cannot stand to listen to s ringing phone. Some assholes pull their phone out and look at it like they have never seen one before while trying to discern who is calling them all the while the fucking thing is ringing, dip shits.
Then there are the maroons that carry on a loud conversation in the middle of a nice restaurant, I do not fucking care nor do I want to hear how much you paid for your mother in laws plane ticket, use your inside voice, there are these miracle devices in the phone called amplifiers, you do Not need to speak so loudly.
So Yes it is completely appropriate to ask your guests to mute their phones
