RIGHT TO PRIVACY - Duchess - 05-04-2017

Do you have that expectation when having a conversation with someone you are close to?

Yes.

It depends on who I'm talking with.

Some family members tell other family members almost everything you tell them (even when you ask them not to do that). So, I just don't tell them anything I would mind everyone else knowing.

I do expect my friends to keep private conversations private though. And, as far as I know, they always do (aside from telling their spouses some things).

Unless someone has proven to me they can keep a secret, I assume they will not.

The only reason a person will tell something to just about anyone is to get something off their chest. That's why you tell these things to perfect strangers. you'll never see them again (hopefully)

Nope. My family are a bunch of nosy, blabbermouths. Except me. I'm a middle child so I like being quiet and keeping to myself mostly. I'm the family secret keeper.

That's where I was at yesterday and I was a mad mutha. I'm over it today. Live & learn.
