I wanted to cook one this summer but it was to hot, now I want to again. Well, not cook it just eat it.

I used to roast one on game day (sometimes) when friends would be coming over, but it wasn't for a sit down dinner, is was part of a buffet. Rolls, salads, chips, stuff like that. I don't view that meat as being strictly for the holiday.

It's too much, so usually I just roast a chicken instead.

No, I buy several turkeys when they are on sale, and cook them when I am in the mood to. Thankfully my family loves Turkey sandwiches, Turkey soup, Turkey salad, Turkey with gravy, etc. Etc..

The CDC has set guidelines for Thanksgiving. You should only make traditional holiday foods for friends and family and leave it on their doorstep, ring the bell and run. Dont be bringing over a crappy pound cake when everyone knows you have pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. They actually said to prepare traditional dishes, like what the fuck is it their business what you cook.
