High tea - sally - 10-16-2020 I Imagine it involves tea obviously, but also finger sandwiches, quiche and scones and what have you. Does anyone here have high tea on the regular? RE: High tea - BigMark - 10-17-2020 Absolutely, we do it on the veranda with high pomp and circumstance and in the spirit of halloween use actual fingers for the sandwiches! RE: High tea - Maggot - 10-17-2020 Sounds like a martial art. RE: High tea - Duchess - 10-17-2020 High tea is more a meal than a snack. Generally, those who have it are the same people that don't eat dinner until 8-9 at night. RE: High tea - sally - 10-17-2020 I didnt have tea today, but I had a pumpkin cold brew from Starbucks. Normally I dont care for Starbucks, but damn that drink is good. RE: High tea - cannongal - 10-21-2020 I attended a high tea once. They served like 10 different flavors of tea, as well as really tasty cucumber sandwiches that were on bread the size of a tea bag. And several different sizes of hockey pucks that they called biscuits and cookies. |
