DO YOU HAVE A BIBLE? - Duchess - 03-20-2021
I know Mock has a mix of believers & nonbelievers. That's just an observation on my part. Belief is such a personal thing, I wouldn't dream of telling anyone they are right or wrong about it. To each their own. I'm just curious to know if you have a bible in your home.
I don't think I do. About 10 years ago I came across a very beautiful box, it looked like it had been hand carved and inside was a bible. It was the former Mrs. Cowboy's and inside the bible there were names and dates that I knew held some significance for both of them. He wasn't interested in it at all so I contacted her and told her what I had found and asked if she was interested in having it. That was my last experience with a bible.

I have 3 Bibles. One is a Good News Bible that my Aunt who is a Nun gave me back in 1981.

Years ago, I once got a Gideon bible from a drawer in the casino I was staying at.
It was placed there by the Gideon bible society, for sinners staying there!
I took it home, and looked at it a few times, and knew how the book ended, so on my next visit to the casino I returned it!

I still have my bible given to me many years ago signed by a guy when I was in the Navy. Jenkins was his name and he was a good man. One night when I was on watch he showed me the biggest shit curled up in the can that I ever saw. he actually made me look at it at midnight. He was a proud Daddy. And could walk down stairs backwards on his hands. He was amazing.

Funny you ask that, we were just at a hotel the past two days and my daughter was reading the Bible out of boredom and wanted to take it. I told her you cannot steal the Gideons Bible, it's not like stealing the towels. I have one at home that my grandpa gave me years ago if you really want to read it that bad, you fucking fruitloop.

The Gideon Bible Society put the bibles in hotels for free, so weary travelers can read about God if they wish. They replace the bibles free each time a traveler takes one!

I have several bibles. Most of them have information like you described. Information is not needed anymore, but I am keeping them anyway.
