Houses are expensive - Maggot - 03-31-2021

I got some offers on my house and I didn't even ask for them 4X what I paid for it. I should look in other States to see what houses are going for along with the businesses there. This market won't last forever and it's really tempting!

Home sales are through the roof right now and that goes for new home builds too, even while the cost of building them is sky rocketing. Have you see the price of building materials lately? It's insane.

I thought about the lumber and was wondering when the surcharge for pallets to ship material on would hit the streets.

How much acreage do you have? I have seen obscene offers for acreage that can be broken down into lots.

Check out Florida. I'm really debating on selling my rental house and I'm living on a goldmine with my beachside house.

I can only speak to my experience with the rising costs and it's been that way for over a year now. I never thought I'd see OSB costing more than plywood. New builds are often seeing a 20K rise in price and it's not stopping people from buying, whether it be residential or commercial/retail.

I made a pallet out of a dresser.
