Well this sonofabitch is slower than a month in jail. I think I could have gotten my abortion stance together by now.

It has become so annoying to read about rape everyday on social media. And these what if scenarios.

Why would you be interested in seeing him justify why women shouldn't have the right to privacy or make their own healthcare decisions? That's what it comes down to, you know. That's the bottom line.

RE: ABORTION IN THE UNITED STATES - Maggot - 07-10-2022

Well, back when Roe was tossed at the Supreme court by politicians and state legislatures it was a hot potato item.  Both were happy to have some other group come up with a decision. It really wasn't something they should have done as those things should be done by the Feds not the court.
It's now been tossed back at them and they are scrambling but I have faith that they will do the right thing and allow the circumstances that Duchess put out there be addressed.

These things do take time and government and politicians drag their asses like dogs with worms. The American public has no patience at all and the media uses this to pit all of us against each other. I have faith in our laws and believe it will be fine but it takes time and that is where the "pearl clutching" statement comes from, my eyes roll back in my head every time I hear about a protest. WTF do people think will happen,

Sally you impatient Kumquat I had a freaking BBQ to go to, I hope you don't mind.  105

RE: ABORTION IN THE UNITED STATES - Duchess - 07-10-2022

I don't know why we can't live & let live. I don't care what consenting adults do, I don't care about medical decisions that adults make for themselves, I don't care what religion people choose to worship. I don't care who adults choose to marry, I don't care about any of that. My life is my business in the same way that your lives are your business.

RE: ABORTION IN THE UNITED STATES - Duchess - 07-10-2022

The Texas GOP sent this. They are threatening prosecution & disbarment if they help their employees. Y'all okay with this? Seems more than a little authoritarian, don't you think?

@Clang, I see that now, sorry.

@Whoever, what are other things that are decided at the state level verses federal level? I can think of a few-but I'm just curious if I am missing something.

My Governor recently signed new legislation about guns--

Ban on the sale of assault style weapons
Increased the age to buy most firearms from 18 to 21
Strengthened background checks
Limits on high capacity magazines
A ban on the use of devices that covert handguns into semi-automatic

We already have red flag legislation.

The lawmakers on both sides got together after Uvalde and worked together to get this legislation passed.

Remember the 10 year old rape victim that had to go to another state to get an abortion? Well, nobody reported the alleged rape to the authorities, including Dr. Bernard, the person who told the Indianapolis Star about the ordeal this child had allegedly experienced -- which is strange because physicians are required by law to report child abuse to the authorities. She didn't, and now has no comment, which suggests that this was all a hoax.

The rest of the story

Why did you leave this part out??????????????

Seems had the government protected the border like they are required, none of this would be necessary.

Is no fun being an illegal alien.

RE: ABORTION IN THE UNITED STATES - rothschild - 07-14-2022

He should be deported to Delaware.

RE: ABORTION IN THE UNITED STATES - Duchess - 07-14-2022

I'm seeing it reported that the Doctor who provided care to the 10 year old rape victim will be investigated by Indiana's AG. Whatta shit hole country move that is.  78
