I don't know if it's always been this way, maybe I'm just now noticing how fucked up society is. I feel like standards have been lowered and many people have no fucks left to give. Mockers, where has dignity went?

I'm actually very polite and well spoken despite the crap I talk in here. Time and place for everything. Here it's for the comedic and sarcastic effect which is fun, acting like an ignorant jackass in public is a totally different thing. I get the feeling that everyone here is that way though which is why I've been here for what seems half my life.

I probably should have said society is broken rather than sick.
Years ago I got into an argument with Dick when he said that society is fractured because of the demise of 2 parent households. I disagreed, but now I don't have such a strong stance and I think there's something to be said for kids being raised by 2 parents rather than 1 who spends all their time working in order to survive rather than being in the home raising their kids.

Maybe if the megabillionaires found something else to do with their lives, other than get richer, we could have healthy economies that don't require people to work 5 jobs to get by.

I think that was the day Sally posted about one of her clients calling her a fucking asshole. I thought that was so undignified to lose one's composure to that extent. This was business, she wasn't taking his parking spot. In my mind, to lose one's composure like that is to be undignified. I'd rather eat shit than lose my composure.
Anyway, it made me wonder if others see what I see.

There is something to be said for having a loving family or a good support system, or being a part of a community.
I've been dealing w/ assholes most of my working life that it seems normal. That is why I love the industry I am in now, seems to be a happier bunch of people I get to be around.
