I was a regular in a bar in Lompoc when i was over there, your bars are excellent, everyone is chatty and friendly, just like the Cheers bar. I got chatting to a bloke one night who said that he pays a quarter of his income on medical insurance, is that the case now?
If you are not ill, lets say for ten years, does the amount youve already paid carried over to fund your treatment.
I suspect the answer is no, and that i am now pointing my finger at you, laughing, and calling you lot prime fools, ripped off and scammed.
In Britain you can phone up fpr an appointment, and be seen, by phone due to covid or face to face immediately.

Some of the people you are laughing at have lost everything they spent a lifetime building because they don't have access to quality healthcare because they can't afford it, some have died for the very same reason. We don't think it's funny, most Americans think it's fucked up.

I get the 20,000 dollar deductible policy for anything catastrophic like cancer that needs ongoing treatment just so you can be with your family a little longer. Other than that I don't even go to a fucking doctor and if I need to for some reason I self pay which is way less expensive. Those quacks will kill you. I don't go to a doctor unless something is really bothering me which isn't often.

Anyway, there is such a thing as a public budget in this country, when the ruling party outlines how its going to spend our money. Notice the word" our".
Social care is in crisis at the moment, 2.4 billion is going in this year, and 4.8 next year. There are 17,000 people in hospital who should be in social care, but there arnt enough beds. These are people who can no longer look after themselves physically, or have no where to go. And have no caring family.
No one is discharged onto a street, unlike America. If you have propery and or money, then you pay a certain amount till it runs out. Then its free. If you have none of the above, then its free. There is a debate whether those with money should pay anything.
Can you see where this is going,? if chang was able to speak, he would say no, even 10 year olds can say that.
Your citizens are dying in pain, living in a cardboard box, under a bridge somewhere, while the wealthy have far more money they will ever need, and still want more.
Do those people care about 67 year old May Brickwood, with cancer, sciatica, rotten teeth, chronic constipation, and hasnt got an aspirin?

You're crazy if you think any of them have the public's best interests at heart. Who do you think contributes generous amounts of money to both major parties? Corporate America and the wealthiest. When it comes to Healthcare they have the medical establishment and insurance industry's best interests at heart, not yours. Both parties talk about health reforms to convince the public they're doing something good, but it never amounts to shit and usually makes a bad situation worse. Why do you think that is?
