yes the super easy embedding plugin does convert even disabled links.
Use the code button and see if that helps next time to prevent links embedding. It's the button with the # on it.

Okay. I used the hyperlink one and you can see the results.
Still, the vid itself provides a link but this is like having to explain a joke to someone, it kind of takes the pleasure away.
