The president doesn't have to be the smartest man in the country. They have handlers and policy makers and speech writers and a cabinet. This "intellectual" president hasn't impressed me much. I prefer a pres who can OPEN UP A CAN OF WHOOP ASS!

I agree with that. I think that anyone who is in a position to call for war should have the experience of being a warrior. They should know what it feels like, looks like {up close & personal} and smells like. I've thought this for years now.

As time goes on, that's going to be harder and harder to come by. Most politicians, it seems..arent military folks..or for that matter, even folks that have had a blue collar background. They're a bunch of spoiled fucking brats.

Unfortunately she's pretty much ruled out running this time. I'm too lazy to google it but it seems like it would be pretty rare for a Secretary of State to run against the President that asked her to serve (talk about awwwkward). I wonder if that's one reason Obama asked her; keep your enemies close and all that.
I liked her before but yeah, I've developed even more respect for her in the last couple of years. 2016?
