I know your summer is getting ready to begin...This morning I saw a shark that resides in your waters and he's only 5 ft. short of the mechanical one from Jaws...He bit another great white damn near in half !...Stay out of the water, baby...Cue the theme song from Jaws, please.

My local beaches have been closed for a record eight days straight as of today, and will remain closed over the weekend. There is currently an ~17 foot long, 3750 lb Great White Shark hunting up and down the beaches around here.

A snip from the story Crash posted. There's a video there (I haven't watched it yet); I'd probably cry.
His buddies tried to help him.
At first the pod of dolphins looked like any other but closer inspection revealed a straggler with a terrible bite out of its back and a shark in close pursuit. The dolphins initially circled their injured mate but as the shark moved in and the injured animal grew weaker they scattered.
After a few slow, wide circles the shark lunged, tearing another chunk of flesh from just above the dolphin’s tail.

I can't read those stories let alone watch a video. There's an animal abuse thread in here and I never, ever go into it. I just don't want to know. If I read about it I will see it in my mind.
