Goodnight Chuck - Maggot - 02-04-2011 A guy I have not seen in a few years but used to party with went flying off a bridge a few days ago. He was a funny guy and was the life of the party. What a way to go flying off that bridge he went out with a bang thats for sure. Seeya Chuck! stinky linky He "vaulted" I guess the Jersey barrier was like a ramp, he flew like Evil Kneivel. RE: Goodnight Chuck - Lady Cop - 02-04-2011 sorry you lost a friend Maggot. he had a heart attack perhaps? suicide? awful, but spectacular for sure. RE: Goodnight Chuck - Duchess - 02-04-2011 Sorry about your friend, Maggot. RE: Goodnight Chuck - username - 02-04-2011 That's sad. I skimmed, but the article made it sound like it's near impossible to go off the bridge (or at least that they hadn't had it happen in a long time if ever). Poor guy must have hit it in just the wrong way. RE: Goodnight Chuck - Misguided - 02-04-2011 Maggott,..sorry to hear about your Bud. RE: Goodnight Chuck - Maggot - 02-05-2011 Thanks everyone Chuck was a hoot. Here is the video of the car getting yanked up the bridge. Thats a long drop! video link RE: Goodnight Chuck - Maggot - 02-05-2011 More stuff........ Even though Charles M. Moncousky spent nearly 20 years living in New Hampshire, his heart always stayed in Waltham where he grew up, relatives said yesterday. “Waltham will always be in him,’’ said Moncousky’s son Charles B. Moncousky. “Even though he was living in New Hampshire, he was still in Waltham. Everybody in Waltham knew him.’’ Charles M. Moncousky, 64, was identified by State Police as the person who was killed when his car flew off the Whittier Street Bridge on Interstate 95 in Newburyport Monday night. State Police said Moncousky’s Toyota fell 100 feet to the Merrimack River and sank. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The state medical examiner’s office is planning an autopsy. The son said the elder Moncousky was heading home to North Hampton at the time of the crash. He was driving a car owned by his employer, a heating and ventilation company, the son said. The son and Charles M. Moncousky’s only sibling — his younger brother, John Moncousky — both said Charles M. Moncousky kept fit playing golf and walking on the beach, and had no chronic health issues. “What you’ve got is the strangest accident I ever heard of,’’ said John Moncousky. The younger Moncousky said he suspects his father was driving at high speed in icy conditions. He said he fears his father spun out and then sailed over the safety barriers on the bridge. The younger Moncousky said his farther served with the Air Force in Vietnam where he was assigned to an intelligence unit. Besides his son Charles, Charles M. Moncousky was the father of two other adult children — Serena Ordile and Erik Moncousky — and the grandparent of three. “He was just a great, great family guy,’’ said the younger Moncousky, adding that he spoke with his father nearly every day before each started work. “He was always there when we needed him.’’ RE: Goodnight Chuck - Lady Cop - 02-05-2011 thanks for the video Maggot. how horrifying!! you know how i have always said i have a fear of high bridges? that just reinforces it. |
