Americans have worse health care than their English peers. - Cynical Ninja - 03-10-2011

Not only are you paying through the nose for healthcare its also nowhere near as good as ours.

From birth to death your healthcare is a lot worse.

Congratulations!

RE: Americans have worse health care than their English peers. - Cynical Ninja - 03-10-2011

Many thanks.

Socialised medicine -1, private healthcare - 0.

Are you one of the 29% of Americans who are morbidly obese fat fucks?

RE: Americans have worse health care than their English peers. - Duchess - 03-10-2011

I'm REALLY surprised it's only 29%.

RE: Americans have worse health care than their English peers. - Cynical Ninja - 03-10-2011

Think about it though, 29% is nearly one third.

One third of 200 million+ plus people is a shitload of fat fucks. We have more than enough fat fucks in the UK, but I bow down to your obesity as a nation.

No.

And Michelle is the top commander and chief strategist for the "War on Obesity".

Maybe this "war" will turn out better than the "War on Poverty".

I really don't need to see a remake of "The Battle of the Bulge" on Hi-Def.

Especially without REAL buttered popcorn, sodas and candy.

RE: Americans have worse health care than their English peers. - Cynical Ninja - 03-10-2011

It's not rocket science.

When they ask "would you like to super size?", walk out and go and have a salad sandwich and a banana washed down with some mineral water instead.

Looks like the war on obseity is going the same way as the war on terror and war on drugs.

Yeah, but our Dentists kick ass.

Anyhoo, the article you posted addressed nothing about the quality of healthcare, so your "its also nowhere near as good as ours" statement was made w/o supporting facts. So quit the misleading bullshit OP. The article clearly addresses the fact that the English are, as a whole, a healthier nation, and that is all.

I'd put the quality of American healthcare up against any in the world. Is it overpriced? You fucking bet. Is our system of paying for health care broken? You fucking bet. Does the general American public want socialized medical care? Nope, we don't.

RE: Americans have worse health care than their English peers. - Maggot - 03-10-2011

Is this another British bashing American post or an American bashing British post? These things are great to watch. Smiley_emoticons_smile The way certain facts are neglected makes everything fun,fun,fun......

Neither it is merely a statement of fact, Americans often go on about how their healthcare is the best in the world which is demonstrably not the case.

The World health organisation rates your standard of healthcare lower than Cuba's for fucks sake.

At least I know for a fact if I get seriously ill I won't end up bankrupt.

Our clearly superior healthcare is one of the reasons we are healthier dipshit, so quit the misleading bullshit fatboy.

The misleading crap was spoken by you in the OP, wanker. I called you on it, and you still have yet to produce facts that the quality of your healthcare is better that Americas. You produced an article that only says Brits are heathier than Americans..but the title of your thread says that the Americans healthcare is "worse". This may, or may not have anything to do with the quality of care...so, I'm waiting.

World Health Organisation chart of Health performance rank by country.

UK is 18th
US is 37th

France, which has the most socialized government controlled healthcare in the world is....

NUMBER ONE.

Well . . . . then it's quite simple.

More Jerry Lewis equals less heart disease, diabetes, COPD and MD.

I'll email Michelle.

Laaaaaaadeeeeeeee!

Please try and cite a reference that's not 11 years old, eh? And also one thats not admittedly so complex that they abandoned the task?

Edit: It really should be a simple task...just show me a legitimate stat that, for example, that an American walking into the Dr. for treatment of an ulcer will receive inferior care to a Brit walking into a Dr. for the same ailment.

Chop, chop, Jr.

That is, after all...your claim in the title of this thread.

Note for OP in case he really is in college: Scholarly works over ten years old are not considered timely research. You will need to know this in case you make it past the term paper degree and move on to the thesis degree...

Wait, if we factor out the midwest, and Southern states (damn them and their comfort foods), I think we could win this.

It's all Paula Deen's fault. Bitch.

Has American healthcare massively improved and UK healthcare significantly got worse in the last ten years?

Nope.

At least I have provided some statistical evidence, you have yet to provide any vinegar tits.

This is the part I always like.

OP, how much for a litre of gasoline in the UK?

how much of your income is taxed to provide the healthcare you recieve, how long is the wait for minor Dr. visits?

I can look all of this up, but you seem so fond of stats and facts and figues as noted in your ten year old info you posted above.

Oh by the way, would you mind finding the cost of a litre of gasoline ten years ago as well.

I'm betting that with that info all of us will realise what we have been missing out on here by not having socialised health care.
