I did my fair share of malicious vandalism when I was 10, 11, 12, old. I look back now, and wonder WTF was I thinking. But 18?? Come the fuck on. These two cockbites should not only do a min 30 days in jail, for endangering lives,, but also be forced to mow the victims yard (or any other bitch work) for a period of 3 years...or at least until the value of the damage to the vehicles is paid off.

I agree. They should know better. I did bad shit growing up too. I used to throw eggs at cars driving by, but I was around 10, not 18.

i'm sorry, this wasn't "vandalism". this was attempted murder. people have died when rocks were thrown at their vehicles.

Someone posted a comment to that article that they should have charged the dumbasses with attempted murder. That might have got their attention.

I tried to post.. but the site was fucked up. Attempted murder is a bit strong...but you're right, that defo would have gotten their attention...and perhaps set them on a decent path in life. But I'm assuming they'll get a little slap on the wrist.

Yeah, I hear ya...although I would hope that their intent was not for anyone to die. However, the area they are talking about is an overpass above a highway where someone easily could have gotten killed.
The vandalism I did as a youth was more to property (shooting out lights with our BB guns, letting the air out of tires, egging cars, etc)...never would I have thought to be throwing softball size rocks onto moving cars on a freeway.
Fuckers are lucky I wasnt the one that detained them until police arrived..or their mugshots might have looked a bit different....and I probably would have gone to jail too. I'd have no qualms with blackening an 18 year olds eye.

vandalism is egging, toilet papering on halloween, graffiti. not deadly missiles. and in the law, rocks as projectiles are missiles.

i didn't read the comments of readers in article. but i recall recently we had a thread that dealt with someone who shot & wounded a person who threw a rock at his moving vehicle. blew out the rear window. the driver didn't know if he had been fired upon. he could have lost control and killed himself or someone else. in that incident i called it attempted murder and still consider it to be that serious.
