Yeh it was a chipmunk. I saved the fucker and feed him.............
Then the Cat snagged him and ran off in the bushes with him, I was pissed. The cat pierced his spine and he was kicking in the forelegs. I had taken a bunch of pictures of him getting saved. Then before you could say WTF the cat dragged it off. I really wanted to prove that I do not hate tree rats but no..........it really sucked, the fucking cat grabbed him. I even have pictures of him eating birdseed from the droppings of the birds. He was under some pressure treated lattice work I had leaning up against the wall.
I'm really pissed that after holding thet little guy in my hand the stupid cat just took him. When I pulled off the skimmer cover he was looking up at me like he was saying "save me .....please" Usually a mole will fall in or a mouse but this critter was still alive.

I am truly depressed that after saving him from a drowning death (I bet he was treading water for 2 days) he was snatched so quickly and dragged under the shed to be eaten. It shocked me how quick it happened.

I once managed to get my cat to drop a mouse it was holding by spraying it real quick with a nearby hose. Have you ever heard a mouse scream? Anyway, hearing the commotion a neighbor came over to "help". He saw me freaking out over this poor little mouse so he decided to give it a swift kick with his boot in to the underbrush.
