After reading the article and calming down, I understand how it could be used in investigations. I don't agree with it being used on routine traffic stops though. But as the article states, unless they(LE or government) have a search warrant, they can't get your cell information unless you voluntarily give them the phone. The device has great potential for good and bad. Here's hoping that more good and solved crimes come out of the use of it than invasion of privacy issues.
