- Duchess - 06-08-2009 I saw LMPP mention that she was considering buying an Ipod, I am too...Any Ipod users in here & if so, is there anything you know now about yourIpod that you wish you would have known before you purchased it ? - LuMPyPussy - 06-08-2009 I actually ordered one on Saturday and it arrived all the way from China today... unfortunately I wasn't home to sign for it and it was too early for the leasing office to be open, damn it. I got the "IPOD TOUCH (2ND GEN) 32GB"... I'll let you know what I think of it. - Luke Warmwater - 06-08-2009 Not me...I hate anything in my ears. Actually, I don't like anything that hinders any ofmy senses like wearing gloves, sunglasses, rubbers, earplugs, etc.. - Duchess - 06-08-2009 Excellent!...I prefer reviews from someone I actually know rather than an anonymous person. - OnBendedKnee - 06-08-2009 I love my iPods. I use a little clip on one for the gym and the video 80G for the train rides to and from work. I'd use my iPhone, but the 16G doesn't store much after music and apps. are downloaded on it so all my video goes on the iPod instead. I'm right now in the middle of watching season 4 of "Weeds" having just finished watching the second season of "Breaking Bad". "Brotherhood" is next (season three). It kills the 50 minute train ride. The in the ear budphones are a hassle, but there are so many alternatives that finding the right fit for you should not be a problem whatsoever. - LuMPyPussy - 06-08-2009 Luke Warmwater Wrote:Not me...I hate anything in my ears. I stopped using one completely when I got my current smartphone. It has full stereo sound and programs and I have over 1000 songs on my phone since my phone has a 16gb card in it. So instead of carrying 2 gadgets (phone and Ipod), I now carry one. Much easier. The way cell phones are going (mini computers), you really do not need to carry a phone, ipod, camera, etc etc etc. - LuMPyPussy - 06-08-2009 I don't want or need a phone so I'm quite pleased with the idea of an iPod. - D - 06-08-2009 Just beware that the "warranty" doesn't cover everything. In fact, it doesn't cover several of the most common things that break from standard handling & use. Apple has been in deep shitwater over it too, but because the warranty is worded just right, they get away with it. Micro$uck did the same thing with the Xbox 360 in terms of warranty loopholes. Fuckwads. - DPD Chick - 06-09-2009 my daughter has a nano, I have a touch, and my husband has a classic. His has the most space on in, I like that, but I like the nano because it's teeny and dainty lol. Mine has the smaller storage on there, I do like to put movies on there which require more room though. - Cynical Ninja - 06-09-2009 I don't bother with Ipods, I have a Sony MP3 player thats the same size and shape as a lipstick that has about 500 songs on it, it only cost $70and is more than enough for me. I still have my CD, cassette, vinyl collection for my main at home music needs. If I'm on the PC I just put on you tube or digital radiothrough my headphones in a seperate window for free. |
