i actually rejected our dept. issue HK in favor of a Smith. and i never fired a Sig.

you see the little red dot on the back of the HK? that is a safety, sigs don't have one.
Smiths suck, they won't fire with the mag out.

Don't get me wrong LC, a smith is probably a good choice for female officers, and weapons with safetys are probably a good choice for female officers as well.
