OWNING YOUR OWN BS - Duchess - 02-12-2012 This thread is sorta/kinda inspired by a comment of HOTD's I just read... Do you take responsibility for your own actions? I own my own crap, the only time I place blame on others is when it comes to how I regard them & in that I mean, I feel the way I do about someone, anyone, because they made me feel that way. RE: OWNING YOUR OWN BS - IMaDick - 02-12-2012 dickiedoo says that shit can be created by someone else amd tossed into your world , they will always own that ahit themselves. You were responding to a comment made about Bobbie Brown. Ah, that one wasn't BS. It surprises me when people want to blame a man for something a woman chose to do. I have done some self destructive things in my day, while romantically involved with someone. I would never blame the man I was with or allow anyone else to blame him for my poor choices, even if he had a part in the scene. Insulting to assume that a woman is that powerless (unless we're talking domestic abuse and such where there is no safe out, whole 'nother story there). RE: OWNING YOUR OWN BS - Duchess - 02-12-2012 I can't stand the blame game. When I see it going on it tells me all I need or want to know about the person doing it. |
