Screw google. They want to track your every move and sell it to the highest bidder or anyone with five cents.
This is a pretty good search engine and doesn't record your movements. Pass it on.

I still use some google searches that are set up in my favorites but for quick normal searches there's no need to use google. I just put it on my browser. It took about 1 second.
It might not be for everyone and I don't know how to change it back.

It just disturbs the hell out of me that Google would want to track my usage and store it forever. I don't need someone actually watching over my shoulder when I search. I already search like my mother is looking over my shoulder and still end up on some embarrasing sites or pages some times.

I know but it's sold for marketing purposes, you can screw that up without a lot of effort.
I still think every google user that is opposed to this should search for porn all at the same time and make google the worlds biggest distributor of porn in the world for a week.
there system would overload trying to send out porn ads to everyone at the same time.
