Hey Steve Wilson, I know that guy.
Not a fan of most of the LPPD

- DPD Chick - 05-07-2009

i was called into an IA investigation once (thankfully it wasn't me being investigated!) but i witnessed something in the jail and was grilled like a steak. 64

What a fucking prick. Suspended for 2 weeks? He should have been fired.

- DPD Chick - 05-07-2009

It's the status quo (unfortunately) for a place like Lincoln Park

People are nuts and cops are no exception. We had a cop here who was pulling people over while she was drunk and another one who kept butting in front of people at StarBucks and demanding free coffee. Kind of scary that these are the people who are supposed to serve and protect ::laugh::

I've never encountered a cop who didn't have that "Rambo" air about them...Of course, there is always the exception to the rule, I say that for the benefit of our resident LEO's...Jesus Christ what a motley crew we are.

- ramseycat - 05-07-2009

Speaking of our LEO's, where is OBK?

That cop fucked up. Maybe he was a good cop before but he obviously let this girl down. Maybe he formed an opinion of her because the first word he heard was fuck. But he still should have asked why she needed an ambulance. I'm sure she isn't the first person to use profanity while calling 911.

Maybe he's in mourning 'cuz Sin is gone.

- sally - 05-07-2009

Maybe he is out harassing prostitutes and demanding free coffee and doughnuts from the 7-11

I doubt that haha. Maybe he is busy arresting all sorts of criminal charactors in his neighborhood.

- Lady Cop - 05-07-2009

i emailed this thread to OBK.

and i never took a free ANYTHING when i was working! but those guys at dunky donuts always made my iced coffee when they saw me coming. i insisted on paying. nice people. ::coffee::

we were always given a 50% discount in a local restaurant, but i never accepted that either. i don't like owing anyone anything. they did say they liked our presence in there, a deterrent to crimes.

the only thing that ever worried me was that some of our jail residents worked in restaurants on work release program. i was afraid they would tamper with food orders.

part of what is recited at graduation is that they will not except anything (here in Detroit)

There are plenty of partystore/gas stations here, are offended if they offer you something and you do not take it (and you are there on a run). It could be a cultural thing, not sure.
