Bill HAD to use EP, he wasn't worth a damn at being stealth in the first place, had to cover his ass later.
A quote from the French Prime Minister.."To have an afair, that is French, To get caught, that is American..."

Legal lying.

It seems odd that it's not used more.

Nice choice. When I smoked cigars I prefered a 5x50 honduran Dulce de something

The long winding saga that is operation Fast and Furious hit another apex today as the House of Representatives voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in Contempt of Congress. Seventeen Democrats joined with 238 Republicans in the contempt vote. Over a hundred Democrats skipped the vote, and many walked out in protest.

Update, June 29th, 2:00pm PST: The Department of Justice issued a statement Friday saying it won't prosecute Attorney General Eric Holder - the department doesn't believe Holder committed a criminal act. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) suggested House Republicans may use civil courts to prosecute the Attorney General.

Holder is accused of withholding documents relating the botched gun-running operation 'Fast and Furious.' Holder's initial confusion, backtracking, and stonewalling on documents raised the ire of House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA), who pushed to vote Holder in contempt of Congress.
Democrats are, naturally, displeased with the vote, saying it's irresponsible and distracting.

The charge raises some pertinent questions: who will bring Holder before a grand jury? Contempt of Congress is a criminal matter, and is usually referred to the local US Attorney to move the case forward - who would, in this case, be the US Attorney for Washington DC, working under the very Attorney General being charged.
