WAH WAH WAH - Duchess - 07-10-2012

What's your reaction when an adult cries in your presence?

I get nervous because I don't know what to do. It makes me extremely uncomfortable.

I hide my tears, I don't ever want anyone to see my pain.

Depends on what the tears are being shed for.

A loss of a child?
The loss of a favored sports team?

I put it all in context.

I always say "quit yer sniveling ya whinney little snot"

RE: WAH WAH WAH - Riotgear - 07-10-2012

I always carry a small glass vial. I ask if I can collect some from them with some lame excuse like "I'm a scientist" or something. Then, later on, I use the tears to concoct a potion that I use to cast a spell of binding over the person.

Depends on the situation like OBK said. IMO a hug is more powerful than any words one could say. If the person wants to talk about it, just be a good listener.

If you mix that with menstrual blood you can do a real doozy on someone.

Tougher to explain your need for I'll wager. But yeah, that and powdered fingernails and shiZAM!.

If I like them, I will give them a hug and a kiss on the cheek. If I don't like them, I would snicker. If I don't know them. I would still give them a hug. No kisses though.

RE: WAH WAH WAH - ramseycat - 07-10-2012

Depends on who is crying and what they are crying about. If it's a good friend of mine, I ususally give them a hug or just let them cry it out and just be there for them. If it's someone I am not that close with, I do the same thing without the hug. It never fails though, when someone cries in front of me, I end up trearing up as well. I'm a big sap.

^THIS(minus the tear hiding. I'm a sensitive/emotional guy)

RE: WAH WAH WAH - Midwest Spy - 07-10-2012

I remember 5 years ago being asked if I wanted to say something at my grandmothers funeral. I said sure. I was her first grandchild and we were very close.

I got to the podium and absolutely lost it. Full sobs. I don't even know where it all came from, but obviously I had a lot of deep-seated feelings for her that all came rushing out.

I remember feeling embarrassed that it had happened like that. If I were watching something like that I'm not sure how I would react.

RE: WAH WAH WAH - sally - 07-10-2012

It definitely depends on what they're crying about. Are you going to tell someone to go cry to their mama after their dog dies?

I could never, ever speak at a funeral. I'm the type that will get teary-eyed when I see someone else tearing up or crying. ( Yes, F2 has a feeling or two to spare)

Awe, MS, I would've gave you a hug and a kiss.

Blowing-kisses
