smart phone for tech-twits - Lady Cop - 07-11-2012
everyone knows i am a tech-twit.
so
last week i bought a new smart phone and an ear thingy (bluetooth) too. i was determined to join the 21st century. actually, i was dragged protesting mightily!
well i should have just kept my old STUPID phone!
this thing has an instruction manual bigger than the one for my new car. it took me 2 days to figure out how to answer it. and that ear thingy worked in the store, but i spent 24 hours at home cursing and swearing at it.
turns out the battery in the new freaking phone had to be rebooted. now i have this thing and have no clue what half the functions are for.

We here in Ca. must use hands free of some sort while driving or chance a stiff fine. Which is weird because I see SD Co. Sheriff's Dep's talking on cell phones all the time.

A dumb phone is probably what most of us SHOULD use. I'm sure I'm only tapping in to about 30% of what my phone offers.
