GOOD EVENING - Duchess - 01-26-2013

Did you accomplish anything today? Do anything noteworthy? Drink a beer or a glass of wine? Did you laugh today?

RE: GOOD EVENING - username - 01-26-2013

Yes!!! I changed the damn aquarium, picked up around the house and got the laundry done. Plus I did a killer workout at the gym.

I also discovered On Demand t.v.! I usually have the news on while I'm folding clothes but instead I watched the latest episode of Hoarders. Mindless entertainment at its best.

I'm about to visit the dry cleaners and then pour myself a glass of wine. My husband and son left earlier for an overnight trip. It's just me and my daughter and she's scheduled to sleep over at a friend's house. She's not feeling great so I'm not sure she's going to go but I've got my fingers crossed for a night to myself. Maybe if I dope her up...

ETA: I just did a fly-by on a forum that I haven't visited in probably a year. I logged in, peeked, and logged out. Smiley_emoticons_slash

Cleaned the house, worked out, took my daughter to get her hair streaked blonde, made homemade Texas style chili over baked potatoes and walked the dog and the baby to the Indian festival, but didn't go in because they changed the rules and charge 5 bucks to get in now and don't serve beer anymore. I guess some old fucks made a stink about beer being served at the events around here and they put a stop to it. Great fucking idea, everyone just loves to go to festivals without beer. Fucking assholes.

That's stupid. BYOB?

I've sat at many youth sports events and wished they'd sell beer (and in my case, wine) from the snack shack. Attendance would probably sky rocket and think of the money that could be made! Stupid rules. Blah, blah, blah.

I live near the river and they have a big park where there is always some kind of festival going on from seafood to art, you used to be able to take your dogs down there and bring your own coolers or buy beer at the stands and fish on the river, but they stopped all that and turned it into a fucking yup fest. Pisses me off.

RE: GOOD EVENING - Clang McFly - 01-26-2013

Slept in until noon, internet, watched Thursday's episode of Conan, went to Church, picked up stuff at the supermarket for dinner(can of chili), washed dishes, said a rosary....and then probably just internet, TV, and then bed.

De-cluttering, gearing up for school. So much to do, a week to go to do it.

I don't think I laughed 21 I hate that. I love laughing. Thanks for pointing that out.

I remember when I took my brat into Chuck E Cheese for the first time. I was mortified that they sold Beer and Wine at a kids arcade. Now-I take advantage of it.

I think it's important to laugh everyday, which I do, and it's important to be able to laugh at ones self which I also do. I'm not a serious person at all.

Yeah...because that's what a lot of loud, obnoxious, overbearing and overprotective parents need is alcohol at their kids games.

You're a fucking idiot.

You're right, you loud mouth, obnoxious drunks ruined it for the rest of us. Now I can't even get a damn beer to go along with my sausage and pepper dog at the the county fair because of you people.

And there were times that I wished they served alcohol at my daughter's basketball games. They sucked so bad it was painfull to watch, the poor coach probably wanted a beer too.

RE: GOOD EVENING - username - 01-27-2013
