AN AGE-OLD QUESTION - Midwest Spy - 02-08-2013 To my knowledge, it's never been appropriately resolved. How DO you solve a problem like Maria? RE: AN AGE-OLD QUESTION - OnBendedKnee - 02-08-2013 RE: AN AGE-OLD QUESTION - Duchess - 02-08-2013 How do you catch a cloud & pin it down? How do you hold a moonbeam in your hand? I can hardly stand that I'm quoting The Sound Of Music. Ooohh god. BTW, your character, Sister Margaretta, was a Nun that wore Stiletto's, choked down heaters and had a beer permanently attached to her hand. You'd have loved her! Maria was a ball-bustin' bitch, IRL. Trapp was a henpecked, slip of a man. I suppose if your name is 'Gay-org' you don't stand much of a chance. RE: AN AGE-OLD QUESTION - username - 02-08-2013 I've never watched The Sound of Music. They leave out the part where she was bangin' Trapp before they were married. She popped out a kid two months after the nuptials. That's the problem they were trying to solve. Maria liked the wild thing. RE: AN AGE-OLD QUESTION - ramseycat - 02-08-2013 (02-08-2013, 06:19 PM)username Wrote: I've never watched The Sound of Music. Me either. No interest. In my production, you play the part of young Liesl. She's enamored with Rolfe (played by Cracker). You two have a five minute scene, in the rain, dancing and singing together. We're gonna need your best effort. RE: AN AGE-OLD QUESTION - BlueTiki - 02-08-2013 Hey Spy . . . You gonna camp the production up a bit or stay the traditional course? Ima thinkin' your gonna wanna satisfy your "The Hills are Alive" fantasy with HOTD. (Remember Julie in SOB?) Full disclosure . . . it's only fair. I don't think MS would make a very good casting agent. Aussie's a more natural choice for the part of Maria Von Trapp. I'm not much on religion, marriage, and prancing around in perpetual song. I could maybe pull off Maria from Westside Story, aside from that little ethnicity thing. RE: AN AGE-OLD QUESTION - Midwest Spy - 02-08-2013 We will be adding many love scenes to this production between the Captain and Maria (and cutting out one of the Captain's many 'Edelweis' scenes). You're (Tiki) welcome to direct if you'd like. If I'm concentrating on HotD (like she deserves), I won't be able to function in other critical areas. |
