When it comes to rude people silence really is golden according to a new study.
People who completely ignore those who are rude and offensive were found more mentally healthy than those who engage with them.

Good question. I think my lack of care factor keeps me sane/stable. There was a time I thought firing people up enough to lose their composure & be rude was a damn good time. Rudeness from anonymous strangers doesn't bother me in the least.
