hitchhiker? I just passed a gray haired guy with his thumb out. My son saw him the other day and said "what the hell, is that guy hitchhiking"? I missed it then but clearly saw him today.
A little torn about it.

I wouldn't with my kids in the car but I was by myself. Shit. I'm not sure I'll pick him up but I'm gonna see if he's still there. BRB soon or call 911.

Not there. I wonder where he goes when he hitchhikes? Maybe he's trying to get to the bingo games at the local community center.
ETA: since I've seen him twice now and no dead bodies have turned up around town, I'm going to pick him up if I see him again. I want to hear his story!

Maybe there are no dead bodies because no one has stopped to pick him up. Personally, I woudn't pick him up unless I knew a great deal about him. Some 75-yr.-olds are in great shape (physically). Don't pick him up! Plus he could be a lot younger than he looks.
