"Janey Williams told ET she was angry because her father, a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, had resumed drinking."
I guess he couldn't resist.
I guess he couldn't resist.
He really does...

He has nine kids. NINE KIDS. His head must not be the only long thing on him.
I hope he makes it up to his kids financially. I'm thinking there are different kinds of homeless people. Some have rotten luck and have lost their place to live. Some drank themselves into it by screwing over every person in their life willing to help. Let's hope he doesn't piss this chance away. I will remain hopeful, but will not be surprised if he goes back to drinking and drugging now that he can afford it again.

I watched a segment featuring him and his daughter. I'm thinking they maybe should have left him in the gutter. He was there for a reason.
Can you save severe drug addicts/alcoholics or will they always relapse? I don't think the lifetime success rate is very high.

Try saying that without the ass in your mouth. By the way, success for the addicted is one day at a time, failure though is most often measured in months or years.

excuse me while i throw up.
Williams' third appearance with Dr. Phil, taped after his decision to enter rehab, will air Thursday, the statement said. His ex-wife, Patricia, and five family members will also appear on Thursday's episode "to share their version of the incident and why they feel Williams is ill-equipped to handle his sudden fame," it said. "They reveal that he has been drinking daily, despite his adamant claims of sobriety," the show's statement said. "If Ted is ever going to get better, he's got to be honest with himself and admit he's addicted to drugs and alcohol," show host McGraw -- Dr. Phil -- said in the statement. "I've told him it's not going to be easy and it's going to take a lot of hard work. It might be a long journey for him, but this is a big step in the right direction."

I used to be a Dr Phil addict..but I recovered. One day at a time.
I think for Ted it was just TOO MUCH all at once. I feel he was not emotionaly ready to handle being on the streets one day, and a media hit the next. Addicts CAN move on from addictive bheavior but it is a long hard road. I just do not feel he has the right support system around him, who will have his best interest. Plus..HE needs to WANT to be better. I think we need better..and longer in recovery before we consider all the shit they were laying on him. Not defending him..just stating fact.

Ted Williams -- the homeless man with the "Golden Voice" -- has left rehab against medical advice, less than two weeks after checking in for drug and alcohol dependency ... TMZ has learned.
Our sources say Ted -- who decided to go to rehab earlier this month after a taping of the Dr. Phony show -- left the Origins Recovery Center in South Texas moments ago and is on his way to the airport. Ted's girlfriend, the hooker, is currently in rehab at the Safe Harbor facility in Costa Mesa, California.

In the long run he may make more money at the intersection, no taxes, nobody bitching at him..........I think that is where he may be happy. Stay tuned ......We will hear more right after the weather report, from Tom-sky in his weather truck............Well, I see a cloud that looks like a horse and that one looks like a dog............now from Dog-Man for the traffic report............Well ole man Eagle-Toe just crossed Double-Stream street and the school bus just got a flat in front of the laundry place.............He might find a job on the Indian reservation.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.
