Soldiers fight because of politics not for politics.
They don't have the choice of picking and choosing the battles that align with their own political beliefs, they follow orders ,they fight for a cause that rises above the political arena. Anyone who believes that their freedom is not protected by the force of military might, may have a need for enslavement to occur, for a loss of freedom so real that they long for it's return. I do however agree that what we see today is not the same freedom that was won in the revolution, we are now a country that is ruled by the government rather than a country where the people rules themselves through representation.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
