Forget the Red Sox , the Patriots and the Celtics. The Hub is Hockey Town USA once again.
The Bruins sensational return to the Stanley Cup Finals following last night’s wild 1-0 victory over Tampa Bay — after 21 frustrating years for long-suffering fans of the Spoke B’s — turned TD Garden into a black-and-gold mecca.
“I can taste it,” said Billy Teseira, 42, of East Boston. “This is the year like the 2004 Red Sox. This means so much for me and so much for the city of Boston.”
The roof was rattling inside TD Garden as the Game 7 victory went into the history books with 17,565 fans chanting, “We want the Cup!”
Loyal citizens of Bruins Nation — including some north of the border — said they’ve never seen so much excitement packed into one game, and one goal by Nathan Horton, which sent the B’s into the Cup finals.
“After the birth of my daughter, this is the greatest moment of my life. There’s nothing that can top this,” said Sylvain Girard, 42, of Ontario, who drove 6 hours to watch the Bruins play.
“I called in sick. I might get fired if my principal saw me on TV,” added his buddy Jeff Kirkey, 32, who said he’s a teacher in Ontario.
They were not alone.
Outside the Garden, a sea of fans spilled into Canal Street to celebrate what many thought was an impossible hockey dream — a Stanley Cup Final in Boston. :B :B :B :B
LC- I'm insanely jealous of Beantowners lately. If the Bruins do in fact win the cup, Boston will have won the Championship in all 4 major sports at least once in the past 5 years. Sick. BTW, the Red Sox also look like they're the odds on favorite to win the World Series this year as well.
P.S. I'm actually cheering for the Bruins to win tomorrow night. I like their club.

Should be a kickass game 7. Not much better in the sports world than a game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals.
Not a Bruins fan..but rooting hard for them. Fuck Canada. Unfortunately, the Bruins have yet to show up in Vancouver.
Of the millions of sperm injected into your mother's pussy, you were the quickest?
You are no longer in the womb, friend. The competition is tougher out here.

Yeah, the Canucks have looked like Pussies in the 3 games in Boston, but, miraculously, Vancouver has held them to 2 total goals in the 3 games in British Columbia.
It'll be interesting to see if the trend changes tomorrow night. I'm pulling for Boston, but have a feeling Vancouver will win a close one again.
I went to a few Bruins games this year, my company gave away a few tickets to this game 7 to a few customers that spent a ton of money this year. It should be a good game!
when i went to bed last night i could hear fireworks like the 4th of July! hahahaha it was great~~
i am surprised at the Canadians misbehaving, but then again hockey is religion up there.
Vancouver Canucks fans took out their frustrations last night at being shut out in the Stanley Cup final by the Bruins, flipping and burning cars in a growing riot after the Bruins wrapped up their victory, Vancouver’s CTV reported.
Fans turned over a car in front of the post office on Georgia Street, flipped over a truck and ignited a second car after the Canucks were trounced 4-0 in the final game. The Bruins team bus got a police escort back to their Vancouver hotel, the Westin Bayshore.
As soon as the final whistle blew in the game, young men in the Georgia Street fan zone began shouting “Fuck Boston!” and setting Bruins gear on fire, CTV reported.
What damned shame...fucking Canadians. They are the first ones to call the USA barbarians...and chastise us us for our "violent nature"..and act all high and mighty like they are above us with their Liberal fucking views..and yet...over a fucking hockey game...they can't contain themselves. It's the NHL...Americas league...Canada can't support a decent professional sports league..and that's why the best of their best come and play for American teams in the NHL. Fuck off and deal with it, Canucks...ya'll aint worth shit to us but for your lumber.
Fuck Canada....worthless pieces of shit.

my son is in Boston for the parade, i hope he'll bring home photos.
The Boston Bruins rolled through the city on Duck Boats this morning, as black-and-gold-bedecked fans screamed their lungs out, jubilant at the return of the Stanley Cup after a 39-year drought.
The players waved to the crowd from aboard a convoy of 18 Duck Boats, which is winding its way from the TD Garden, past City Hall, the Boston Common and Public Garden, to Copley Plaza.
On Staniford Street, team captain Zdeno Chara brandished the Stanley Cup above his head, while standout goalie Tim Thomas held up the Conn Smythe trophy he received as most valuable player for the playoffs.
Sirens wailed, air horns blasted, and people cheered, creating a deafening roar, while orange ticker tape fluttered through the air as the parade passed. Police have said they were expecting a million people for the “rolling rally.”
