The 3-year-old boy struggled to breathe. In hours, he'd die from his injuries.
Meanwhile, young Noah Fake's abusers — his mother and her boyfriend — ate pizza and watched a movie as the boy clung to life, Orange County investigators said Thursday.
The child's mother, Robin Greinke, 26, and her boyfriend, Steven Neil, 33, were arrested Thursday afternoon and booked on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and child neglect.
Investigators say the couple hit Noah savagely, causing fatal injuries. Why?
"He peed his pants," homicide Detective Chris Dillon said. "He urinated [in] his pants, and on top of a little alcohol use by both of them and the possibility of some pills, they ended up beating [Noah] to death."
A report that a child had stopped breathing sent Orange County Fire Rescue and deputies responded to the Abaco Key Apartments on Mystic Circle around 5 a.m. Tuesday. Paramedics administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Noah before rushing him to Dr. Phillips Hospital. He later died.
Initial information suggested Noah might have had meningitis — an infection — but an autopsy revealed foul play in his death, detectives said. The Orange-Osceola County Medical Examiner's office determined the boy died of blunt force trauma to the head.
When confronted with the results of the autopsy, Greinke confessed to attacking her son, investigators said.
According to Dillon, the mother said she and her boyfriend of more than a year "tossed him, spanked him and punched him" on Monday night, leaving the boy struggling to breathe.
Greinke told investigators she was concerned, but her boyfriend convinced her to wait until the morning to seek treatment for the child, Dillon said. In the meantime, investigators say the couple went about their night, enjoying a movie and some pizza.
Confronted by investigators about the boy's death, "she was very apologetic, but obviously it's too late now, because he's gone," Dillon said. He said Neil also made incriminating statements to detectives.
A spokeswoman for the Florida Department of children and families said the couple had no history with the department, but were visiting Florida from Illinois at the time of the boy's death. They lived previously in West Palm Beach.
Officials said Noah was the only child at the home. Dillon said Neil was not the boy's father, but he has a child about the same age with another woman.
Records show his former wife sought an injunction against him in 2008 in Palm Beach County, citing repeated domestic violence. The couple divorced a year later. He has also faced DUI charges in Illinois.
After watching the pair being loaded into separate transport vehicles bound for the Orange County Jail on Thursday night, Dillon said he's never seen a case like this.
"They're going to jail," he said, "and hopefully they won't ever get out."

An Orange County judge ruled today that a woman whom deputies say participated in the abuse of her young son and ate pizza as he lay dying must stay in jail without bail.
Robin Greinke, 26, and her boyfriend, Steven Neil, 33, were arrested Thursday. The two face charges of aggravated child abuse, child neglect and first-degree murder in the death of Greinke's 3-year-old son, Noah Fake.
Greinke said little in her short initial appearance before the judge at the Orange County jail this morning. She had been scheduled to appear before a judge on Friday, but was under suicide watch and unable to appear. Neil was denied bond at his Friday appearance. The two have been ordered not to be in contact with one another.
Orange County investigators said Greinke poked her son in the chest, pinched his cheeks and kicked him on Monday night. Neil also kicked the boy, and slammed him repeatedly into the floor and rammed him headfirst into a wooden sofa frame.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A 23-year-old Colorado Springs mother faces felony charges for allegedly leaving her two young children in a bathtub where one was scalded and drowned.
At about 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to an apartment on S. Chelton Road after getting a 911 call for an unconscious 9-month-old boy. Paramedics could not revive him.
Police say the child’s mother, Estella Toleafoa, left the boy and his 2-year-old brother in the bathtub while she visited a nearby convenience store and restaurant.!
The infant, identified as Erich Tyler Jr., suffered severe burns from bath water over most of his body.
“The El Paso County Coroner's Office has completed an autopsy and determined the cause of death was due to scalding and drowning,” Colorado Springs Police said.

Without a doubt. First responders see hell. Maybe if the public saw what they do, things might change.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- Police say a Louisville mother left two infants locked outside in the rain during severe weather, while she slept safely in her home.
23-year-old Ashley White was arrested Monday afternoon.
Police say they were called to White's home in the 1200 block of Central Ave., north of Taylor Blvd. Earlier in the day, concerned citizens allegedly found two little girls -- ages 1 and 3 -- locked outside the home close to an "extremely high-traffic street." It was raining at the time, and police say the area was facing severe weather.
Police say the concerned citizens knocked on the door of the home several times, but got no answer. At that point, they took the children to their home. That's when police were called.
"They were filthy, hungry and very scared," said LMPD spokeswoman Carey Klain. "We're just fortunate we have neighbors who were paying attention and were able to assist and help these children to safety."
When they arrived, police were able to make contact with White -- the mother of at least one of the children -- who was inside the home. She allegedly told officers that she had been asleep, and that she believed the children were inside the whole time. Upon further investigation, police say she admitted to the officers that she is addicted to Opana, and that she, "needs help."
White's actions placed the children in, "extreme danger," according to an arrest report, and Child Protective Services was notified. The children were taken to the Home of the Innocents.
White has been charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
DAYTON, Ohio — An Ohio woman found guilty of burning her baby daughter to death in a microwave oven has been sentenced to serve life in prison with no chance for parole.
A Montgomery County jury recommended the sentence for 31-year-old China Arnold on Friday. The Dayton Daily News reports that Common Pleas Judge Mary Wiseman immediately handed down the sentence.
Jurors also had the option of recommending a death sentence.
It was Arnold’s third trial in the 2005 death of 28-day-old Paris Talley. Arnold’s first trial ended in a mistrial. She was found guilty in the second, but an appeals court reversed that conviction.
Prosecutors have said Arnold intentionally put the baby in the microwave and turned it on after a fight with her boyfriend. The defense argued someone else was responsible.
A three-year-old boy has been left fighting for his life after being 'sold' by his babysitter to two men who raped and tortured the toddler.
Police said the boy from Oklahoma was forced to drink bleach and lye and had part of his skull torn off during the horrific assault.
His face, eyes and throat were all covered in chemical burns and he had been hanged from a ceiling with a dog collar. OH GOD!
Investigators said Jennifer Chapman, who was looking after the boy, allegedly offered him to two men for sex in exchange for methamphetamine.
The two men allegedly raped and tortured the boy for several hours before returning him to 43-year-old Chapman at the Oklahoma motel where she was staying with the boy's mother Leana Lauck.
According to police when Lauck, 31, saw the injuries to her son she decided against taking him to hospital for urgent treatment and instead began taking meth with her friend.
An arrest report revealed that the boy, who has not been named, suffered for 18 hours before he was taken to hospital.
A police report revealed the toddler was taken to the Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City with numerous bruises on his body.
He also had an injury on the base of his skull with the possibility of brain injury.
'The scalp was removed, part of it,' said family member Stacy Felkins.
'His big sister said, 'I saw people trying to make him drink stuff, then he went to sleep and I think he's dead.
'He may die and he's had things happen to him that may never go away if he does make it. It makes me sick.'
'I think jail would be too good for them,' said Ms Felkins.
'That's the most evil thing you can do.'
Police say they are still searching for the two men responsible for the actual abuse.
The boy's mother told police she knew her son was badly injured but was afraid to seek treatment for fear of what would happen to her. CUNT!!
She told detectives she chose to smoke meth while her son lay in agony in the same motel room.
'To have somebody commit such an act of violence on an innocent child is horrific for anybody to see,' said Oklahoma City Police Department Sgt Jennifer Wardlow.
Lauck has been charged with child neglect while Chapman faces similar charges.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Metro police caught a Nashville mother having sex in a west Nashville park early Thursday morning after finding her young child alone in a parked car 200 yards away.
Police spokesperson Don Aaron told Nashville's News 2 an officer on a routine check of the area found the child in a vehicle parked on Love Circle off Acklen Avenue and West End Avenue around 3 a.m.
"On a routine check of Love Circle early Thursday morning, a police officer noticed a car sitting in a no parking zone," Aaron explained. "He went to check further and found a 14-month-old baby girl sleeping in the backseat."
Aaron said the keys were in the vehicle's ignition but no parent was found.
The officer did some further checking and found the child's mother engaged in sexual intercourse in a nearby park.
Aaron said, "[The officer] was some 200 yards from the vehicle in the park area and found the mother of the child engaged in sexual intercourse with the man, away from the vehicle and in all likelihood she couldn't have heard the child cry if the child happened to be in distress."
The Tennessee Department of Children's Services was called and took custody of the baby girl.
"We've seen situations like this before where children have been left abandoned and the worst has happened," Aaron continued.

Yes. How depressing. These people should be sterilized. I only wish there was some magical way to prevent them from having kids in the first place.

sitter, left. mother right.
This one fucken kills me. No words but, if I was a cop - I'd have a hard time not performing a double-tap on all four of these fuckers and pretending I found the baby alone in the motel room. Not very appropriate, I know but, who says its the wrong thing to do?
