You are blaming Bush for 9/11? You think maybe that is displaced anger?

Nothing like that had ever happened before. I'm sure there were hundreds of warnings about different possible attacks. We didn't think they could touch us back then. Now we know.

I don't think any president would have grounded every plane for a month or two or a year. I doubt they got specific information "Hey they are getting on this flight, this flight, and this flight at exactly 8:20 AM on September 11."

After having this president, what can people really say about Bush? We have thugs, oh I mean "czars" (try that shit 30 years ago and see people raise holy fucking hell, pinko sumbitch) advising our president about how to sink this country while he is busy playing the blame game and scaring the elderly.

You think another president WOULDN'T have gone to war? Seriously? After 911 you really think that? Oh, and they found another mass grave the other day in Iraq, all Kurds. Would your president have just laughed it off? After Obama's questionable actions in Libya right now, I don't think you can say that.

People love to blame Bush for the economic problems, but Clinton started the NINJA loan crisis. Bush made several attempts to stop it, but Congress wasn't on his side.

People say everyone who hates Obama is a racist or a raving Republican. It just isn't true. He is doing a shitty job. He is dragging more and more people into poverty. It isn't going to be easy to fix what he fucked up. The next president is completely screwed. If Obama is the next president, we are ALL screwed. No matter how much people hate Bush now and blame him for wars (Clinton had Bosnia, remember?), any president would have done the same.

Obama could have stopped the war. HE HASN'T. We must be there for a reason. That alone should make people stop and think, but it doesn't.

Obama is a crook and a liar and he acts like a bitch with his constant blaming. It's HIS job, it's HIS responsibility. He is taking care of the segment of the population that voted him in and doesn't give two fucks about the rest of us. I'm not going to agree with him just because he's black. That is fucking nuts. If he were white, the dark people would be pissed off, too. But he gets the black pass. You know it's true and it is just as racist.

If you take an intelligent look at what is happening, all the wasteful government spending, only jobs created government-funded jobs that don't raise revenue, unemployment, increased cost of doing business, all the socialist bullshit that won't work in a country this size, huge fucking debt, you HAVE to see a problem.

You can blame Bush for NCLB. That was/is fucked up. It was also centered on minorities. Look what Atlanta did with that, cheated. That's how all these programs work, people cheat them and you and I pay for it.

YOU CAN'T help people who WON'T help themselves. It is a natural law.

I am voting for the next person that says we have to stop spending and throwing money at people who won't be responsible. I don't mind paying more for taxes IF we stop spending on stupid shit. The candidate that tells Americans they won't get bailed out for being stupid will get my vote.

I didn't read all that, Cracker.

All I did was address the comment regarding no terror attacks that Dick made. George Bush knew about the intelligence weeks in advance. A CIA rep, maybe FBI, I can't recall exactly, went to Texas to AGAIN try to impress upon the Prez the seriousness of the situation, George's response was to tell him, you've covered your ass, you can leave now and the Prez proceeded to enjoy the remainder of his vacation.

That's all I addressed. I'm not interested in researching stats & graphs or reading countless pages of info in order to validate my poor opinion of George.

The 911 attack was actually a Clinton mistake.

He did not act on the intelligence and left it on the table.

I'm not surprised that your response is as it is, most people bought the lies and the bullshit, so don't feel bad that your information on the 911 attack is fucked up.

I didn't say no terror attacks ,I asked how many had died prior to bush becoming president, while he was president and after he left office.

Don't let OP read for you anymore, he is a lunatic that makes up the content as he goes.

I know you won't read this, but hit the bold parts. You will see how much the president lies to this country and uses scare tactics. That is completely fucked up. Why do we allow it?

When Americans stop questioning, we become sheeple. Don't let this country slip through our fingers because you were controlled by the media.

1) Not increasing the debt ceiling means the U.S. government will default on its debt. This is probably the biggest lie that almost all other claims arise from. Default occurs if the government stops paying interest on the money that it owes. Not increasing the debt ceiling only means that the government can't borrow more money and that spending is limited to the revenue the government brings in. And, with interest payments on the debt making up less than a ninth of revenue, there is no reason for any risk of insolvency.

Time after time, congress and the president have failed to agree on a debt ceiling increase and still there has been no default. Examples include: December 1973, March 1979, November 1983, December 1985, August 1987, November 1995, December 1995 to January 1996, and September 2007.

Indeed, this really shouldn't even be a point of debate. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution requires that the debt payments come first before any other spending.

2) Until the debt ceiling is raised, uncertainty over the payment of U.S. debts will create chaos in financial markets. Given that the Constitution mandates U.S. debts be paid before any other spending and that sufficient money will be available to cover our interest payments, the only uncertainty arises from Obama's actions. Will he try not to pay the interest? Even a delay of a day in paying this interest will create a default. Court action could eventually force Obama to follow the Constitution but a default would have already occurred. But there is a simple way to end this uncertainty: have the president declare now that he will indeed follow the Constitution and make those payments.

Failure to increase the debt ceiling clearly doesn't mean default. During one three week period at the end of 1996 and the beginning of 1996, some of the government shutdown when a similar battle over the debt ceiling occurred, but there was no default. President Clinton used the revenues that were coming in to pay the interest on the debt.

3) Obama doesn't know if there is money to send off Social Security checks on August 3. The president knows very well how much revenue will be available to send out checks on August 3. Indeed, enough money will be available to not only pay the interest, but to also cover all Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and children's health insurance, defense, federal law enforcement and immigration, all veterans benefits, Response to natural disasters. Terrifying elderly people who are dependent on their Social Security checks may make good politics, but it is unconscionable. Yet, these scare tactics aren't really very surprising. The Democrats behaved no differently when they ran television ads bizarrely depicting Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) as pushing an old lady in a wheel chair off a cliff.

4) Mortgage interest rates will rise dramatically if the debt ceiling isn't increased. Not true. Indeed, the opposite is more likely, for not raising the debt ceiling stops the government borrowing more money. Less borrowing by the government could lower mortgage rates as there would be more lending available for potential homeowners. The interest rate paid by the government might go down for a second reason. Just as banks charge individuals a lower interest rate for those who have less debt compared to their incomes, the same is true for governments.

5) Time is Running Out on Debt Deal, and it must be done immediately. Despite Obama’s insistence that a deal be completed by July 15 and Geithner’s claim that a deal had to be reached by July 22, as already noted, there have been many times over the last few decades where negotiations have extended past when the debt limit has been reached. The longest delay lasted three weeks. Besides claiming that there will be a default, no explanation has been offered for why the debate is any different this time.

Possibly all these claims of urgency are part of some grand strategy to scare people, but that strategy depends on voters not knowing what is necessary for a default to occur.

6) If government spending is cut, there will be a depression. Obama promised that a "temporary" increase in government spending would "stimulate" the economy, but he is now telling us that we can't cut that "temporary" increase -- that we are stuck with it.

If Obama's program -- including a 28 percent spending hike since 2008 and more than $4 trillion in deficits -- worked so well, why has our unemployment rate risen more than elsewhere? The European Union, Canada, South America, Japan, and Australia have all had smaller increases in unemployment compared to the U.S. after Obama's "stimulus." We have also had these shutdowns before and the numbers don’t show any negative impact on unemployment or GDP. Figures for the longest shutdowns during the fourth quarter of 1995 and the first quarter of 1996 are available here.

7) The value of the dollar will plummet. Again, the supposed collapse occurs when we default. But there won't be any default. In addition, less government borrowing means lower future taxes, thus making the U.S. a more attractive place to invest. More foreign investment will actually cause the dollar to rise.

It is time for President Obama and his administration to stop scaring people. Cutting government spending back to its 2007 level won't be the end of the world. After all, during the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama himself repeatedly promised “a net spending cut."

Politics is a bad thing to discuss. It makes you think other people are completely fucking stupid because they fall for obvious bullshit. I'm tired of the blame and scare tactic. Our president thinks the rest of us are stupid and he knows better: He will never admit to a mistake. One of the congressional women of color, lady from Louisiana I think, dared to say the president is having a hard time getting his bullshit passed because he's black. WTF? Why do we accept the race card from our president? You know he told her to say it, or neglected to tell her not to try that shit. Only a nog would even say that.

I don't fall for the race card, and neither do most of the people I know.

The sad thing is that Obama has more than likely sold the farm for other blacks who could become president, I don't think that this shit will fly twice in a row, and if it does then were fucked anyway.

I'm sure you've heard of the Atlanta Public Schools CRCT cheating scandal. There was one other county in the state that is now going to get nailed for cheating: Dougherty County. All the middle schools there, except for two (75% and 82%), are at least 90% black. They will pull the race card because they got caught. They will say they are being discriminated against.

The real racism of this decade is propagated by blacks.

Some more from Sheila Jackson Lee (the congresswoman from the hood in Houston who said Obama won't get the debt ceiling raised because he's black, not because our national debt has tripled under his management or because he is the most partisan person in DC):

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas also hands out nicknames to the people who work for her. The Houston Democrat addressed one of her employees as “you stupid motherfucker.” And not just once, but “constantly,” recalls the staffer, “like, all the time.”

A member of Congress is demanding storms be given names that sound "black."

The congressional newspaper the Hill reported this week that Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, feels that the current names are too "lily white," and is seeking to have better representation for names reflecting African-Americans and other ethnic groups.

"All racial groups should be represented," Lee said, according to the Hill. She hoped federal weather officials "would try to be inclusive of African-American names." A sampling of popular names that could be used include Keisha, Jamal and Deshawn.

“The Congressional bonehead award goes to Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) who, on a visit to JPL, asked if Mars Pathfinder had taken an image of the flag planted there in 1969 by Neil Armstrong! Quipped Rep. Vernon Ehlers (R-MI) to the Washington Times: “We just don’t teach enough science.” Worse, Jackson Lee, who represents Houston, is a member of the House Science Committee’s space subcommittee.”

"Today we have two Vietnams, side by side, North and South, exchanging and working. We may not agree with all that North Vietnam is doing, but they are living in peace. I would look for a better human rights record for North Vietnam, but they are living side by side."

"All those who wore [Klansman] sheets a long time ago have now lifted them off and started wearing [applause], uh, clothing, uh, with a name, say, I am part of the Tea Party. Don’t you be fooled. [voices: "That's right.", applause] Those who used to wear sheets are now being able to walk down the aisle and speak as a patriot because you will not speak loudly about the lack of integrity of this movement."

Over the course of her political career, Lee has earned a reputation for having both an entitlement mentality and a volatile temper. In 1998, for example, she was accustomed to having an aide drive her daily, in a government-leased car, back and forth between her Capitol Hill apartment and her congressional office one block away. One day she told a staffer who had failed to reserve a limousine: “You don't understand. I am a queen, and I demand to be treated like a queen!”

One of Jackson Lee’s drivers became so frustrated with her abuse the person pulled the car over and demand she stop: “She’s screaming and swearing. ‘M.F.’ everything. Finally I slammed on the brakes and told her to get the hell out of my car. I’m like ‘I can’t drive with you like this. Either get out, or you can calm down.’ And she’s like ‘you need to go or get fired.’ I’m like, ‘that’s fine. But I’m either leaving without you or you can calm down,’” the staffer said.

Jackson Lee then threatened to call the police and claim she was being held hostage in the car. But she finally did calm down when the staffer called her bluff, offering to flag down a Capitol Police officer to explain the situation.

Another Jackson Lee aide recounts the time her parents came to Washington to visit: “They were really excited to come to the congressional office. They’re small town people, so for them it was a huge deal. They were actually sitting in the main lobby waiting area. . . . [Jackson Lee] came out screaming at me over a scheduling change. Called me a ‘stupid idiot. Don’t be a moron, you foolish girl’ and actually did this in front of my parents, of all things.”

Ever wonder why black dudes would rather hump JSMom? You knew there had to be a really good reason...

What I find interesting is the split in the Republican party. A few are saying the debt limit needs to be raised; a few are holding out (Bachman and Ron Paul). No cohesion there. Not that that's bad; just interesting.

fuckityfuckfuckfuck. why am I not surprised that you are completely fucking ignorant on what is really happening?

Debt ceiling: More Democrats threaten to vote against raising borrowing
The tension is the latest illustration of how the tea-party-infused GOP is driving the debate in Washington over federal spending. And it shows how the debt issue is testing the Obama administration’s clout as Democrats, particularly those from politically competitive states, resist White House arguments against setting conditions on legislation to raise the debt ceiling.

More Democrats defiant on debt ceiling
.The push-back has come in recent days from Sens. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.), chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), a freshman who is running for reelection next year. Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) told constituents during the Easter recess that he would not vote to lift the debt limit without a “real and meaningful commitment to debt reduction.
