A hoarder who chose her hoarding over her children... Hoarders like this are as bad as drug addicts as to what they will do to support their "habit".
Looks like another boy disabled child subjected abuse.

Mom charged after son dies, home found overrun with animals
"A 14-year-old mentally disabled boy who died in Berwyn last week had been living in a home filled with insects, animal feces and more than 200 diseased and malnourished animals, prosecutors disclosed today as the boy's mother appeared in court on abuse charges."
"Lydia Price, 49, allowed her son to "live in squalor," prosecutor Joseph Hadal said during a bond hearing. He described the home in the 2800 block of Lombard Avenue as "filled with cockroaches, flies, animal feces, wild animals such as raccoons, squirrels as well as 109 diseased cats."
"The house has had no running water in six months"
And there is more: "Price was charged with criminal abuse and neglect of a disabled child resulting in death, endangerment of a child, animal hoarding and cruel treatment. Price was also charged with criminal abuse and neglect of another disabled child, a girl who has autism, authorities said."
"Berwyn paramedics received a call Thursday that the boy was lying unresponsive on the lawn at the family home...The boy was taken to MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, where he later was pronounced dead. An autopsy determined he died of natural causes related to bronchopneumonia."
.."Inside, amid feces and squalor, they found more than 200 animals, including nearly 100 birds, an overweight raccoon, a fruit bat, two dogs and several kinkajous, raccoon-like creatures native to Central and South America."
"Authorities also removed four children ranging in age from 12 to 18." Three of those children are now in custody of the Department of Children of Family Services after being treated for flulike symptoms. The fourth sibling is still in the hospital, according to the article.
"They were found to be extremely dirty, with their feet being caked with feces and dirt, and also having numerous scratches and with what appeared to be numerous animal bites on their arms, legs and other body areas."
Further: "the children had been kept isolated at the home."
"The children's father has been imprisoned since 2008 for home invasion while armed with a gun, records show. After he was imprisoned, the children and their mother grew even more detached from other relative."

another needless death in a hot van
Gabriel Josh-Cazir Pierre was just 17 months old, but the happy “gentle giant” left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Dorchester mom of two Tawana Leslie saw that lovable, smiling face Monday morning — just before Gabby, the beloved toddler, was driven off in a day-care van, never to come home again.
Outraged child advocates and lawmakers demanded answers yesterday about how a Dorchester tot was left to die inside a sweltering van and how long child-care providers waited before reporting the boy missing — the latest in a crisis of dangerously irresponsible day care that has forced the state to shut down 24 child-care centers in less than two years, the Herald has learned.
Little Gabriel Josh-Cazir Pierre was supposed to be dropped off Monday at a family day-care center on Trinity Terrace in Dorchester run by Yohanna Tejeda, according to Carmel Sullivan of the state Department of Early Education and Care, which is now investigating.
Instead, the 17-month-old died after being left, possibly for hours, inside a hot van that driver Luis M. Matos parked in front of Gloria Luna’s Family Day Care on Floyd Street. The district attorney’s office said it is awaiting autopsy results on 17-month old Gabriel before deciding whether to bring charges in the case. Friends and relatives said Matos, a leader in the city’s Dominican community, is “devastated” and remained hospitalized with chest pains.

this literally made me nauseous. HOW IN HELL DO PEOPLE LIVE LIKE THIS?? EVEN DRUGGIES?
Venice, Florida -- A Sarasota County couple faces child cruelty charges after deputies found their family was living in a home filled with raw sewage.
Deputies went to the house on Tuesday to arrest Kristina Reilly, 26, on a petit theft warrant. Inside the home, deputies noticed a strong smell of human waste.
Reilly and her boyfriend, 29-year-old James McArdle, told deputies there was a septic tank back up from at least five days earlier, but McArdle hadn't gotten around to cleaning it up yet.
The result was about an inch of sewage in some rooms, and it saturating the carpeting in others.
Two young children were found in a room with a dirty mattress in the middle of the floor and the pillows covered in mildew. Deputies say they found a needle and spoon with drug residue in the master bedroom, as well as a bong in the living room.
Reilly's arrest report further described the squalid living conditions:
"In the kitchen there was sewage backed up and half of the sink was filled with liquid waste," reads the report. "There was an infestation of ants and cockroaches all over the counters. The one usable bathroom within the home was also filled with sewage. The toilet was overflowed with feces and the shower floor was covered in human waste."
According to the arrest report, McArdle said the family generally went to the bathroom in a bucket, which would then be dumped in a pool in the back yard.
In addition to Reilly's petit theft warrant, she and McArdle are both charged with one count each of child cruelty. McArdle also faces one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
The children were removed from the home and are in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.

Orlando Sentinel
The mother of a 7-month-old boy who was beaten to death last year was sentenced today.
Michelle Ford, 31, pleaded guilty to aggravated child neglect and was sentenced to one year in jail followed by four years of probation. Keith Skinner, Ford's long-time boyfriend and father of two of her three children, is charged with the murder of their son Triumph Skinner.
As part of the plea deal, Ford is required to testify against Skinner in court when he goes to trial next year. She is also not allowed to have unsupervised contact with her two remaining children.
Ford lost parental rights of her 9-year-old daughter who is being cared for by the Department of Children and Families. Her newborn son has also been taken away, assistant state attorney Shannon O'Brien said in court.

Four North Platte children were rescued from a trailer home Monday.
Two were made to live in a wire animal kennel with a mattress.
Lieutenant Rich Hoaglund says police made a welfare check to the trailer home on 2400 East E Street.
They found the trailer to be unsanitary and unsafe.
There was trash, food, animal feces and urine throughout.
Two young children, ages 5 & 3, lived in the kennel. The door was tied shut with wire.
their mother, 22-year-old Ashly Clark, was arrested.
Hoaglund says Clark claimed the kids were trying to climb out of the trailer house windows at night.
two other children, ages 8 and 8 months were not kenneled, but were in what were considered unsafe conditions.
Their parents, 25-year-old Bryson Eyten, and 24-year-old Samantha Eyten were arrested, too.
A fourth adult living in the trailer, 20-year-old Lacy Beyer, was jailed, too.
All the children are in emergency custody with Health and Human services.
The possible charges range from child abuse, and first degree false imprisonment.
Hoaglund says all four adults knew of the kennel, and the living conditions in the home.

VIRGINIA BEACH— Police in Virginia Beach have found the body of a child which may be the 11-month-old girl who has been missing since Oct. 3.
The child's body was found in the parking garage of a hotel in the 1800 block of Atlantic Avenue. Police spokeswoman Grazia Moyers said investigators have not determined if the body is that of Janyiha Whiteman. Moyers said the medical examiner's office would identify the remains and determine a cause of death.
Lawrence Ray Smith, a 33-year-old Virginia Beach resident and the boyfriend of Janyiha's mother, was taken into custody early Friday morning on unrelated felony drug charges. Shortly after speaking to Smith in the 200 block of Atlantic Avenue, officers found the body in the fifth floor of the parking garage.
The girl's mother, Marie Whiteman, had left the child in Smith's care in mid-September when she went to jail on a probation violation related to a prior arrest on drug charges. Smith and Janyiha were last seen on Oct. 1 at the Colony Trailer Park on Virginia Beach Boulevard.
The case remains under investigation.

i hope these bitches are kept separated for life. S.C.
little victim
A Charleston S.C. courtroom was the setting for a bizarre scene when two lesbian lovers collapsed, wailed uncontrollably and hyper-ventilated after hearing they would serve life for killing a three-year-old girl.
Erica Mae Butts and Shanita Latrice Cunningham had to be picked off the floor by court officials and held in chairs as they were wheeled out of the room.
The mother of Butts was physically thrown out by three staff members after shouting loudly at her daughter to, 'Get up!' then screaming, 'I can't leave my baby like this, my baby is out!'
As sobs echo from the gallery, a clerk can be heard to ask, 'Do we have any EMTs in the building?' while others try to get a panting Butts to slow down her breathing.
Butts and Cunningham, both 25 from Summerville, South Carolina, were told on Friday they will spend the rest of their lives in prison for beating Serenity Richardson to death in 2009 while the toddler was in their care.
Serenity was visiting Butts, her godmother and her mother's best friend, and Cunningham, who was Butts's lover, for two weeks at their home in Summerville, South Carolina when the abuse took place.
'It is nearly impossible for words to accurately describe what these women did to that poor little girl,' said Elizabeth Gordon, assistant managing solicitor for Charleston County.
'They beat her repeatedly both with a belt and with plastic coat hangers. You can see the outlines of the strikes on this child's body. There is not one area of this child's body that was unharmed except for the soles of her feet.'

Crews Search for Baby's Remains in LeFlore County
6:16 p.m. CDT, November 4, 2011
LEFLORE COUNTY, OKLA. - Officials with the LeFlore County District Attorney’s office are searching for remains of Michelle Marie Haskin, a baby believed to have been born in August 2010 to a teenaged mother, and then buried in the woods behind a home near Monroe.
"We're really not sure where the crime scene, how far it extends at this point," said District Attorney Jeff Smith.
A bulldozer was brought to the property located at 10781 Old Monroe Highway Friday morning.
During a news conference, Smith said nine siblings, ages 3 to 17, were taken into the custody of the state after an investigation revealed extreme physical and educational neglect.
Officials say one of the children told authorities she and a younger sibling were sexually abused by their father.
The teen’s parents, James Haskins, 61, and Lucinda Haskins, 39, were arrested during the course of the investigation. The father is charged with sexual abuse of a minor and child neglect. The mother is being held on charges of child neglect and failure to protect. Both adults are being held on a $275,000 bond.
"It's scary," said Ronnie Autrey, a neighbor, "It breaks my heart that kids could be treated that way."
One of the children admitted to investigators that she had given birth to a baby girl at her home in August 2010. In court documents, it says the teen told authorities the baby was delivered by her father. She said a boy she met at camp is the baby’s father.
The teen told officials the baby girl didn’t cry when she was born and claims her dad said the baby was dead. The teen also told authorities the baby was buried in the woods behind some of their property. "There are penalties for disposing of the remains of a human body," said Smith.
State officials say they searched records and found no report of the baby’s birth or death.

DIE YOU SKANKY HOS. WHERE WERE YOU WHILE THE BABIES BURNED?? you should
Twin sisters, age 18, have been arrested for murder after their three young children were left alone to die in a fire in their home.
Akeevia Lajoseia Abner and Tekeevia Lajoseialan Abner, 18, from Atmore, Alabama were taken into custody on Monday by the state fire marshal.
Three-year-old Aniyia Abner, three-year-old Takia Abner and 22-month-old Michael died in a house fire while their mothers were out.
A preliminary investigation indicated an oven left open could be the source of the blaze that killed the children.
Investigators suggested the oven could have been left open to keep the children warm.
They also found a mattress inside the house blocked the door, so the children would have been unable to escape.
In a statement, Escambia County District Attorney Steve Billy said the women showed ‘an extreme indifference’ to the children's lives and ‘created a grave risk of death to the children’ by leaving them alone.
Scott Pilgreen, an assistant state fire marshal, said one child was found in a bedroom and the other two in a hallway.
When fire personnel arrived just before 8 p.m. Wednesday, they found the home engulfed in flames and all three children unconscious, he said.
The children were transported to Atmore Community Hospital, where each died a short time later.
The preliminary cause of death has been listed as smoke inhalation, but all the children suffered burns as well.
Their bodies have been transported to Mobile for autopsies, Billy told Reuters.
It was not immediately known which children belong to which mother or if either woman has any other children not present in the home at the time of the blaze.
Both women were taken into custody by the State Fire Marshal and booked into the Escambia County, Ala., Detention Center. They were each arrested on three counts of reckless murder.
If found guilty, they could receive ten years to life for each count.

OMG I hate people....
Shasta County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a woman who they said let her 4-day-old daughter die from neglect.
Investigators found the baby girl's body Sunday afternoon at the Julian Youth Academy in the 12000 block of Tintagel Lane in Whitmore after a school employee alerted authorities.
Deputies on Monday arrested the infant's mother, 23-year-old Jessica Bradford, on suspicion of murder and willful harm to a child.
Sheriff's detectives said Tuesday that Bradford gave birth to the girl in mid-September and that the baby died about four days later.
Bradford initially told a detective the baby was stillborn but later admitted the girl lived for four days, sheriff's Sgt. Steve Grashoff said.
Bradford told detectives she hadn't told anybody — including her boyfriend of three years — that she was pregnant, Grashoff said.
She said she thought about giving the baby up for adoption but chose not to, deputies said.
Bradford kept the baby in a vacant residence on campus and would occasionally check on it, Grashoff said. She continued to go to work, see her boyfriend and drove to Redding at least twice for personal business, he said.
She told Detective Brian Jackson she didn't feed the baby and tried to give the girl water when she cried, Grashoff said.
"She did not want to tell her boyfriend about the baby because she did not want to affect his life and her life," Grashoff said in a news release.
Bradford kept the infant hidden in a laundry basket in her room for about a month and a half after the girl died, Grashoff said.
She moved the girl's body into a utility closet Friday after realizing someone may have seen the body, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Julian Youth Academy workers found the baby in a pile of blankets in the staff dorm room, sheriff's logs said.
An employee called authorities Sunday to report the find, but the baby was gone when she went to check.
The employee who called authorities reported other employees had said they found the baby Friday evening.
The baby appeared not to be fully developed and one of its arms was disfigured, sheriff's logs said.
Grashoff said the baby was in a mummified state of decomposition but was fully developed.
Bradford was a Julian Youth Academy employee, said Phil Ludwig, academy director.
He declined to elaborate on her position at the Southern California-based, private Christian boarding school for troubled teens.
"This had nothing to do with the school," Ludwig said. "This was a private residence she rented; it did not directly involve the school in any way."
Grashoff said Bradford is from the El Cajon area in Southern California.
She entered the Julian Youth Academy at 17 and stayed on as an employee after graduating, he said.
"We're very sad at the possible event that took place," Ludwig said. "Other than that, we don't know what happened, and we don't want to guess at it."
Bradford is being held in Shasta County jail on $1 million bail. Grashoff said she's scheduled to be arraigned today.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The father and grandmother of a 10-year-old boy who was beaten to death have been charged, yet a caseworker who investigated the family months before found nothing wrong, records show.
Tramelle Sturgis died earlier this month after he and his older brother were tied up with duct tape and beaten with a club by their father, Terry Sturgis, over several hours, in the family's South Bend home, police said.
The 10-year-old was found to have both old and new injuries, including a broken arm and leg, bruising across his body and marks from the club, police said.
His older brother survived the attack but also suffered bruises and welts, police said.
Terry Sturgis has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of felony battery. His mother, Dellia Castile, 53, the boys' grandmother, was charged Wednesday with three counts of felony neglect of a dependent.
Police said Castile, who lived with her son and his five children, was in the home the night that her grandson was killed and heard the boys screaming but did nothing to stop the abuse.
Indiana Department of Child Services records obtained by the Call 6 Investigators show at least one person reported ongoing abuse in the home in May.
According to the complaint, the parents "beat the children with two-by-fours" and that one of them "might be bleeding internally."
Records show that a caseworker went to the home to investigate but found the report to be unsubstantiated. The caseworker said the children didn't show signs of being abused.
Sandy Runkle-Delorme with Prevent Child Abuse Indiana said it is critical to study child fatalities to determine how other children might be saved in the future.
"Who knows where the responsibility lies, other than with the perpetrator, ultimately," she said. "Anyone with whom that child had contact with -- where was the missing link and who failed this child?"
Due to confidentiality rules, DCS officials were unable to comment on the case.

Ok well this baby is still alive thank goodness but really........
"Mr Swardenski said: 'I have serious reservations about whether there's any criminal activity here or just misguided parenting intentions"
Give me a break, they starved their child, that's abuse not misguided parenting!!!!
Parents starved their baby for months claiming they were afraid she would end up obese, a court has heard.
Christopher and Mary Sultze, of Appleton, Wisconsin were both charged earlier this month with a felony count of child neglect. The couple face up to a year in prison and a $25,000 fine if convicted.
The infant gained just five pounds in the 14 months after her birth. She needed to weigh 22 pounds to meet even the minimum growth charts for her age, a doctor told police.
Another doctor noted that the child had no fat on her body and was essentially starving.
Mr Sultze reportedly told doctors during a check-up in August that his daughter would 'get fat' if she stayed at the hospital, even though it was recommended because the child was dangerously underweight.
Mr Sultze, 35, appeared at Outagamie County Circuit Court today and was released on bail on the condition he had no contact with the child.
His preliminary hearing was scheduled for next week.
His wife Mary Sultze, 36, waived the right to a preliminary hearing yesterday in exchange for her release on bail so that she could return to the couple's three other children, according to her attorney Brandt Swardenski.
She was also ordered to have no contact with the daughter she's accused of starving.
Neither has entered a plea.
Mr Swardenski said: 'I have serious reservations about whether there's any criminal activity here or just misguided parenting intentions.
'This is a case where we need to reserve judgment until we learn more details on exactly what occurred.'
Mr Sultze's attorney Michael Petersen declined to comment.
According to the criminal report, the couple's daughter weighed eight pounds when she was born in July 2010 and weighed just 13 pounds this September.
Doctors began tracking the girl's lack of growth and weight gain at her four-month checkup in November 2010, when she weighed just 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
Her parents were irritated that doctors were continually concerned about their daughter's weight, the report said.
They insisted they were feeding her enough, their other children grew slowly and that they believed the girl would eventually gain weight.
Months went by with no significant improvement and tests for potential medical problems came back negative.
In August, the family's doctor convinced the couple to bring their daughter to Children's Hospital in Fox Valley for an evaluation.
The girl gained 8 ounces in one a day at the hospital.
A social worker assigned to the family as part of hospital procedure noted that the girl's parents were upset by recommendations that they needed to feed her more calories.
They decided to take their daughter home against the advice of her doctors.
Mr Sultze reportedly told a doctor he didn't want to have obese children and kept insisting his daughter would 'get fat' at the hospital.
He later told police that his family followed a very low cholesterol diet.
Mr Sultze said he underwent bypass surgery for a blocked artery when he was 25 years old.
Court records revealed that Mrs Sultze was charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct for biting her four-year-old daughter on the arm in 2009.
At the time, she told police she had bitten her daughter to teach her a lesson after the girl bit her older sister.
The mother of four acknowledged that 'it probably wasn't right to do'.
She ultimately pleaded no contest to the disorderly conduct charge, which is not an admission of guilt but is treated as such for sentencing purposes. Prosecutors dismissed the battery count.

oh yeah, i remember this bitch.
BELLEVILLE, IL (AP) - A woman accused in the shotgun deaths of two of her children says in a jailhouse letter to a judge she was hearing voices the day of the killings and is "truly sorry."
The Belleville News-Democrat reports 25-year-old Yokeia Smith told St. Clair County Circuit Judge Milton Wharton she believed police were after her even before the Aug. 31 killings.
Smith's attorney wants to have Smith tested to gauge her mental fitness for trial on first-degree murder counts in the deaths of the children, ages 5 and 4.
Authorities say the victims were killed in the family's East St. Louis apartment. Smith later was arrested in St. Louis after hitting two pedestrians.
She has pleaded not guilty and is jailed without bail.
