damn if it isn't snowing!  very hard, fast and sideways. it's pretty but i doubt we'll get much. you getting it Maggot? now that you hung up your shovel? hahaha

holy shit it's a whiteout outside! i just took these pics from my bedroom window, but they don't do it justice. it looks like a blizzard at the moment!

Last summer I think I mowed 4-5 times total. It just never grew much.

I only mow once or twice at the most here in the winter months, but through the summer and the last month or so it's just been that perfect humid grass growing kind of weather. I don't mind so much, the place looks a real treat when it's lush and green. I don't mind so much mowing it all any more either since I got my new Toro out front mower...that thing does the whole few acres in under an hour

Nope, our Autumn (Fall) started on March 1. The seasons are defined on calendar months here, not the solstices or equinoxes. Winter is June 1 to August 31, Spring Sep to Nov etc etc..

How often are you supposed to change the oil in lawn mowers? I have a Murray riding mower and I just add oil when it sounds like it needs it. Is that bad? Still runs...
I'm not completely retarded, I do get the right kind of oil in the lawn section of the hardware store. |
