Looked up my zip code and found FIVE tier three (the worst ones) RSOs, out of 13. How do I find the details of what they were convicted of? I don't just mean something like 2nd degree sexual battery (example) but the actual details and specifics of the crime they committed.

police reports and trial transcripts. if they are available to you in your state. they should be public docs. but you may have to pay for them.

Isn't it crazy that there isn't full disclosure in every state about these animals? Fucking amazes me...

Doesn't it seem like at the RSO website there should be a clickable link with all of that? They could redact the victims' names and addresses. It's bullshit that the public should have to dig up the info or even pay for it! This should be easily available info because they're so dangerous!!!
Last night, I was reading about a murdered girl named, Dru Sjodin (you probably know about her). Her killer did something like 23 years on a prior offense, got out and killed her just a few months later. These people are NEVER safe to roam the world.

The Dru Sjodin case was right here in MN.
Fucking animal took her at knifepoint right from mall parking lot. He was convicted and is waiting for his federal death sentence. That murder happened in 2003 I believe. He's been waiting awhile.
A pathetic piece of trash.

You all are lucky you are actually able to see if there are RSO's in your neighborhood, here in Canada that is not available to the public, one could be right next door and you wouldn't know. I hate it as I think we should have the right to view the registry.

Wow, no way! That is terrible. I'm afraid that's a result of the bleeding heart left that thinks everyone can be rehabilitated and deserves a chance.

After reading this thread I checked my area and found multiple offenders nearby. I live close to two elementary schools and they are all nearby those. Creepy! It lists the penal code, but I don't see anywhere where it tells you what tier their offense falls under. I was using the megans law Website. Anyone know how to tell from the information they provide to determine what tier these RSO fall under? I googled it but wasn't able to find out how to determine that.

gimpgrl, I'm in Michigan and I Googled "registered sex offenders michigan" and got a site from the state police. Your state must have one, too.

I believe Megan's law is the website for sex offenders in CA. It gives the addresses, photos, and the penal codes and descriptions of their offenses. But it doesn't tell you what tier they are. Maybe CA doesn't Have a tier system? I think I'll have to google around a bit more. It just creeps me out being a young single female living around so many RSO, some who were charged with rape by force.

I put in my zip code Six and zero offenders were listed. I hope that's accurate, but it seems a little hard to believe since we're in a pretty densely populated area.

Sure is, it some ways I understand, that's how Canada works, privacy is a big thing here. There are almost always publication bans when it comes to trial and nothing will be released to press or public until the trial begins, sometimes even then not all information. So we do find out names but that's about it, RCMP keeps that information to themselves.
