Are you saying Obama and Hillary have nothing to do with Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, etc? Because the wars didn't suddenly end. We fucked Iraq and we are still getting fucked in AFG, along with whatever else we are doing (pissing off China, mostly).
She would have my vote. She's awesomeness.
If she were white would you feel the same way?
What did you think of Colin Powell? I actually interviewed Powell and Dick Cheney in early 1990 after we had overthrown Noriega.
I don't feel too strongly about her one way or the other.

Absolutely.
I had workout like that yesterday. This little brunette hottie in a burned out crushed velvet top with at least a one size too small pair of those cotton lycra boy shorts and she was on the treadmill in front of me while I was on the elliptical for about an hour. I composed a poem over it.
There she trotted
Buns a flexin

Nice.
Do you think User has men writing poems about her at her gym?

I was 28 then. Still smoking two packs of Marlboro lights a day and smoking pot constantly. I sort of remember it.

Did you just ask Cracker that question? I judge her on the content of her character.
Cool.

LATimes
Kitty Wells, the long-reigning “Queen of Country Music” and the first woman to reach No. 1 on the country chart with her attitude-changing hit “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels,” died Monday at age 92 of complications from a stroke.
Wells was the most successful female singer of the 1950s, one of a small handful of women to have significant impact in country in an era when the music was overwhelmingly dominated by men.
“She was the undisputed queen of country music,” singer Marty Stuart said Monday. “There’s more to being a queen than just calling yourself a queen -- it’s a title that goes with an entire lifetime of service and influence. You check the careers of anyone in this town [of Nashville], and you won’t find anyone with a more spotless career than Kitty Wells.”
Wells laid a template for female singers in country music that started a shift in traditional male-female roles in rural America with “Honky Tonk Angels,” a strikingly assertive response to Hank Thompson’s massive 1952 hit “The Wild Side of Life,” in which a man laid all blame on his a woman he meets in a honky tonk for breaking up his marriage.

Yep, I was 7 years old and that was my favorite song. My dad took me and my friend to a sports bar and gave us money for the juke box, we kept playing it over and over and he told me if I play it one more time he's gonna kick my ass.

The good ole' jukebox.
My grandparents used to own an old mom and pops supperclub in northern MN. I discovered the jukebox at the age of 11, and we'd sneak in before the place would open in the evenings, pump soda from the bar and play tunes to our hearts content. They never updated the tunes, that was the best part.
So, for years it was Kansas' "Point of Know Return" that we played again and again.

When I was 8, there was this deli on the corner of Harvard ave and Commonwealth on the cusp of Brighton/Allston, and there was one of those jukes that had the menu in every booth with the metal pages to flip.
Just the best.
"Cherish" by the Association was probably the song I played the most when I could find it. 10 cents a play. 3 songs for a quarter.

Bullfuckingshit. The top 10% pay something like 90% of all taxes. They DID build that. Any time somebody throws out the words 90% I'm gonna want citations.

Those commercials with the abused animals are terrible, the ones for the ASPCA. I wanted to be a vet when I was younger, but spent some time in a vets office to be sure its what I wanted to and while there, I realized I couldn't handle abused animals coming in. I have never hit an animal in my entire life. Ever. All of my animals, dogs and cats, have been rescues. I have to turn the channel when they come on.
Just shut up. Just shut the fuck up right now.

Cracker was off a little, but not by much... the top 10% pay over 70% of all income tax. Those are people who filed returns with an AGI of $112,124.
The top 25% pay close to 90%... they pay 87% of all income tax, and they have AGI of only $66,193.
For shits, the 1%'ers pay 37% of all income tax, with AGI's of $343,927.

So your statistics are valid only if we include the middle and upper middle classes, whom we already know are shouldering the burden. Pretty sure it's those one percenters Obama was directing his comments at.

I saw Ben Stein on some show the other day arguing that hell, yeah, raise taxes on the wealthiest individuals. He drew the line at those making $5million or more as I recall.
Surprised me coming from him.

Can you do math at all? The top 1% should pay 1% of the fucking taxes, not more than 1/3. How in the fucking hell can you people possibly ask them for more? WTF?
90⁄ 25 is fucked up, even the tards should be able to see that.
This stuff pisses me off.

Also keep in mind the number of people in our society who don't work, are retired, are under 18, and are on the fucking couch right now. That top 25% IS NOT 25% of the population, it is 25% of TAX PAYERS. Probably closer to 10% of the population like I said.
Gotdamn this stuff pisses me off.
Fucking losers.
