Do you believe in Karma?

From your lips to God's ear. If only more true believers (and, non-believers!) acted as such buildings wouldn't come crashing down and funerals wouldn't be picketed.

You will score points when you actually bring something to the table.

Thus far you've offered nothing but what you identify as "logic" which is nothing more than asking questions and berating the answers without regard to the substance of the answers.

So are you a Christian?

Unbreakable logic here. If Riot offers no side to an argument it cannot be refuted.

So are you a Christian?

I'm a Christian but it's nothing I care to debate, it's mine and it's just the way it is. I don't push any of my beliefs on others, I don't care about the faith of anyone else.

I don't care if you're a Christian Duchess. That's why I didn't ask you.

Let me all explain to you how people like RG are. Now without ever asking him or looking up I can tell you he fits one of 4 groups I've come across.

1) Athiest 2) Fundamentalist Jew 3) Fundamentalist Muslim

Earlier today I would have had said Fundamentalist Christian but the above post proves that wrong.

The biggest problem with these philosophies is they don't allow room for error. It all MUST be there way or no way. They fail to even realize that a fraction of philosophy could be wrong and they refuse to look at absolute proofs.

Then they turn to either violence or childlike name-calling. Congratulations RiotGear you are now on the same page as the Westboro Baptist Church!

An agonistic is just a lazy thinking atheist.
Think about it:
If I asked you if you love your wife/husband and you told me, "I don't know". it's safe to assume you don't.

Sally I've already answered him in another thread. He called me a chickenshit because I said it depends upon what sect of Christianity you are. Currently I do not attend any church nor have a baptized my child. In some sects of Christianity that is a hell worthy sin, in others not so much. I was raised Catholic and because I've taken all of the Catholic Sacraments I am accepted into the Catholic Church fully even though my faith in it would not be considered strong. I do understand the Catholic way of thinking very well. I find it consistent.

I was an agnostic at one point in my life but I have come to realize that there is a God. I believe that Jesus existed just as I believe Mohammad existed. I even believe Jesus performed miracles, however, to take the leap of faith that Jesus is a begotten son of God, I'm not sure if I can say that definitively.

OnbendedKnee, you can see and interact with your wife, God will interact but on much different terms which is why I can understand agnostics. Also I've found those who are truly agnostic subscribe to much of the Eastern philosophies like Daoism. Additionally agnostics by nature acknowledge that they don't know. The other four by their very nature cannot be because one must then accept everything for that philosophy even if it goes against common sense and conventional wisdom. Their belief then becomes irrational. It's a shame because they give the basis for their philosophies a black eye, and almost all of the basic philosophies are rooted in good and a search for the truth.

Well I really don't know. I can see my husband so I know he exists, but there is no scientific theory to prove or disprove the existence of God. While I reject religous belief and think human beings are capable of being moral and ethical without it, I think there is a God in a deism sense. That's just what I think and all I'm really subscribing to is the idea that the universe was created, nothing more. So that's why I would call myself agnostic and not an atheist.

I'm not asking if you believe your husband exists.
I asked, "do you love him?".

If I were to ask your husband if he loved you and he paused and stated, "I don't know" wouldn't you think he doesn't?

Yes, so what's your point?
