Well, duh - Lamborghini. Everything in and on a Lamborghini car is perfect. Of course, they're not expensive, they're disgustingly expensive

Refridgerator filter:
Mine costs 50.00 you are supposed to change twice a year. I put one in 6 months ago BUT......I never turned on the water because I had a flood and never got around to putting it on. Six months later without any water going through it the "need a change" light goes on. I unscrew the thing dump whatever water is in it and screw it back in. BAM! the green light goes on and everything is cool.
They work off time not gallons a great scam for the person that will spend 100.00 per year because they rely on a dummy light. For 50.00 those things should last a bit longer dontcha think?

If I was in my right mind, I probably wouldn't ask this question, but since I'm not...
WTF is a refrigerator filter? In all my 47 years, I've never heard of having to change a refrigerator filter, and have never see any indicator light to change a filter, and, didn't even know there was a filter.
Please God...don't let me be the only woman in here that's never heard of this chore.
Are we talking about a kitchen refrigerator here?...

My ex is a contractor and I was a PA. I know more about general home repair than I care to, but I am pretty handy. My dad wouldn't let me get a license until I learned how to change oil, pump gas, refill washer fluid and change a tire. Its funny bc now he does all that for me when I need it.
Just shut up. Just shut the fuck up right now.

I can rebuild a 350 chev in the dark, TIG together an aluminium can, true a board with a hand plane, silver solder a water pipe, wheel align an F100 with a piece of chalk and a tape measure, butcher just about anything with two or four legs, sheer a sheep, mark a calf, break a horse, bake a sponge and render a wall...
People that say 'I can't do that' are just stupid or have no inclination to want to learn it.

Usually only a fridge with an ice maker & a water feature in the door have a filter.

Ah, as soon as you get into a Lambo, every part of your body gets enlargened by default, so no act of thinking necessary...

You're not. Shit, does that mean I have to re-evaluate my position on a god's existence, now?

Thats the thing, I dont care about it but when you have a Mother-in-law like mine that says stuff like "you have'nt changed the filter yet" i want to hook a keg to it and give the kids a glass.

I haven't changed ours in years so God knows what unsuspecting guests are getting when they use that thing. Crap, I need to fix that. Probably better if I just take the damn thing out vs. letting it rot in there (assuming the water will work without it).
I have a Brita container that we use instead.
