That billboard is heart breaking. I hate that this much time has passed, makes me lose faith that we will ever know what happened to Kyron.
It's the hint of arsenic that gives it that extra kick.

Kyron's mother was on TV last night, very sad interview with the screaming bozo-chasing JVM.
she and Kyron's father do not speak, so something happened there. she blames him for not telling her what was going on in the home and that terri "hated" Kyron. i hear he does nothing but hang out at fair booths selling tee-shirts and bracelets. they are ALL weird as far as i'm concerned, this mother did not have custody of Kyron. but she is sincerely grief-stricken, and flat-out accuses terri, who never responds with a lawsuit or any other statements. it's like terri is waiting for evidence (a body?) to turn up before anything happens. terri also does not attempt legal avenues to get or even visit her baby girl, because she could be deposed.

I wonder what Terri did w/Kyron?? Still no doubt in my mind that she was involved in his disappearance. Just not sure if she, alone, carried it out start to finish.

nothing new, but its good to know they are still looking for this precious boy.....
New searches are planned this weekend for evidence in the disappearance of Kyron Horman, who turns 9 on Friday. Kyron's mother Desiree Young said Multnomah County Sheriff's Office will comb "key areas" that have not yet been searched. "It's an active investigation," said Lt. Steve Alexander, spokesman for the sheriff's office. "We're continuing to pursue leads and tips." He would not confirm that officials would be conducting searches this weekend. Young said officials are trying to keep a low profile so they can go about their work without a horde of onlookers or members of the media recording their moves. She and her husband Tony Young, who live in Medford, conducted a search Aug. 27 and 28 with two trained nonprofit groups. She said they had a variety of vehicles and searched places around Northwest Germantown and Newberry roads and the area around Northwest Skyline Boulevard. "We will probably be doing a few searches," she said. She said the searches have focused on public property and that the sheriff's office is planning on combing areas identified in the investigation that have not been searched. While the Youngs are focused on the search, Kyron's dad, Kaine Horman, is planning a birthday party for his son at Big Al's in Beaverton from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday. The event will include a mohawk station for boys and a nail-painting station for girls. Horman, who shaves his head, said he plans on getting a purple quarter-inch mohawk in tribute to Kyron, who always wanted one. For details on the party, check Kyron's website, http:// bringkyronhome.org. Horman, who appreciates sheriff's volunteers actively looking for his son, is not taking part in the searches. "I'm not certified," he said. "I'm going to leave it to the professionals so if they find something they can process it properly so it can be used in legal proceedings if it's relevant. I don't want it thrown out if it's tampered with or moved." Besides, he said, he believes his boy is still alive. "I know the searches have to be done but I don't think they will find anything," he said. http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index...ore_2.html
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

http://www.katu.com/news/local/Desiree-Y...29105.html http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index...llion.html KATU PORTLAND, Ore. – The mother of Kyron Horman, the young boy who vanished two years ago, filed a lawsuit against the boy’s stepmother on Friday claiming that she is “responsible for the disappearance of Kyron.” In the lawsuit, Desiree Young directly asserts that Terri Horman kidnapped Kyron. The suit also claims Horman “intentionally interfered with [Young’s] parental rights and that Terri Horman intentionally inflicted severe emotional distress.” The suit goes on to say that Young “seeks the return of her son and seeks compensatory damages.” Terri Horman was the last person known to see Kyron alive at Skyline School on June 4, 2010. She has long been the focus of the investigation into his whereabouts, although she has never been formally named a criminal suspect. After filing the lawsuit, Young held a news conference where she fought back tears.

Maybe the civil suit will bring out some new info. I remember a case about 20 years ago - I think it was in Oregon or Washington. It was suspected that the boyfriend killed a woman. LE couldn't prove it. Family of the victim filed a civil suit, and something was unearthed during that process that led to LE being able to make the arrest (and subsequent conviction).

I don't know how Terri Horman sleeps at night, because she knows what happened to this sweet little boy.

You think that evil bitch killed him or sold him?

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children released an age-progressed digital photograph of the Skyline Elementary School student who vanished two years ago on Monday. The image of what Kyron Horman would look like now based on family photos was worked on by computer technicians at the center. His parents Desiree Young and Kaine Horman have seen the picture and given it their approval.

well well. not named suspect in criminal matter however. but pressure.
------------------------------------- The stepmother of missing Oregon boy Kyron Horman has been named the primary suspect in his disappearance by a judge overseeing the civil case. Judge Henry Kantor named Kyron’s stepmother Terri Horman as the ‘prime suspect’ in the boy’s 2010 disappearance, despite Terri’s yet clean criminal record. He added that the $10million civil suit against her, filed by Kyron’s biological mother Desiree Young, could proceed. Young smiles and holds her son on the beach Terri Horman, left, the stepmother

I think Terry killed that poor child because she did not like him and was tired of taking care of him, She knew his father would never be willing to give him back to his mother because father did not want to pay child support to the mother of kyron. Jmo

Does anyone know if Terri's been allowed to see her daughter at all?

What does she know? Friend of chief suspect in missing Kyron's disappearance REFUSES to answer 142 questions during deposition about the case A friend of the prime suspect in the case of Kyron Horman who has been missing for two years, refused to answer 142 questions related to his disappearance, pleading the Fifth Amendment, it was revealed today.... ...his stepmom Terri Horman was named in a civil suit as the prime suspect because she was the last person to see him. Now, Kyron's biological mother Desiree Young - who divorced father Kaine before their son vanished - has asked a judge to force Terri's friend to answer all of the questions put to her during a deposition taken earlier this month. DeDe Spicher was uncooperative during questioning - even refusing to identify a picture of her friend, whether she knew her husband and if she had ever met Kyron - in the $10million civil suit filed by Young. Multnomah County sheriff's investigators looking into the disappearance of Kyron Horman were interested in the whereabouts of Spicher on that day. Court documents say she was at work that day but left abruptly at 11.30am and returned 90 minutes later. She declined to say what she did during that time.... ...'I'm asserting my Fifth Amendment right,' Spicher replied, according to a transcript filed in Multnomah County Circuit Court obtained by The Oregonian. His mother Desiree has now filed a motion asking the court to compel Spicher to answer the questions.... 'Plaintiff believes that Ms Spicher has inappropriately sought the protection of the privilege against self-incrimination," he wrote. 'The privilege is personal; it cannot be used to protect another person...Otherwise, the privilege could be used as a shield to protect a witness' friends, and to deny a civil litigant probative evidence. 'A witness may not invoke the Fifth Amendment in order to hide knowledge of a friend's criminal conduct.'...

or maybe it is what did she help with? or what did she help cover up once the step mom did it? that is just very odd behavior! am I understanding that article right to read it to say that the friend left work for 90 minutes and isn't saying where she was at? it was after the time however that Kyron was reported missing right? but doesn't mean he was disposed of necessarily and the step mom could have called her for help to get rid of the body.

Yes, the friend has 90 min of unaccounted for time shortly after Kyron went missing. She obviously has something to hide (whether or not it relates to Kyron) or she'd answer the questions. I don't really understand "A witness may not invoke the Fifth Amendment in order to hide knowledge of a friend's criminal conduct." If the friend knows Terri committed a criminal act and didn't report it, can't she be charged with obstruction of justice or being an accessory after the fact? The friend would be protecting herself as well as Terri. You'd think if LE thought this friend knew something, they'd offer her a deal. I'm jealous - I don't have any friends I can call up after I've killed someone who would help me cover it up and keep quiet.

I was picturing a scenario that you call a friend over to say you need help, don't say what it is till you get there. friend shows up even if friend refuses you say you are already involved you've seen too much the friend then helps, or the friend voluntarily helps from the jump. I have friends that will help no questions asked but I just don't have these types of situations arise... and then there is family.

I have friends too ,but you take someones life and sorry but I can not and will not help you.
A distant cousin ran his car into the neighbors house. He took off and ran to my house. He was drunk and ran into my home to hide from the cops. There were 15 cop cars out side. When he passed out I went outside and told the cops he was asleep on my couch. If your running from crime do not come to my house. He did 70,000 dollars worth of damage to their home. He never had to give them a penny because he has no pennies to give.

I'm a great friend, but if you kill a child, I'm turning you in. Under no circumstances will I help you dispose or cover that up.
Just shut up. Just shut the fuck up right now.
