This is from LC. She had a thread in the Staff forum where she stashed gifs she came across throughout the year. I tend to believe she would have posted it for us potheads.

I bet someone could make a ton of money just recording things from a person before they died and giving it back to the family later as was requested by the dead person. Tons of money...........tm maggot

Today is the day for Washington that it became legal. Did it also become legal in Colorado today too, was there a 30 day waiting period there as well? It is being said on the news if you are caught smoking outdoors in the next 30 days you will get a verbal warning. Following those 30 days a person would get ticketed for smoking outside and the ticket is said to be about $100.

Now thats almost what it was like in the late 60's early 70's cops would say "put that shit out" and walk away.

I hoped that decriminalization (fine instead of arrest/record) for possessing/growing a reasonable quantity would become reality across the states, but didn't think legalization would pass this time out. I'm glad it did. Regarding Colorado, the legalization goes into effect in a month, but doesn't apply to college campuses, according to the Denver Post. In about a month, a measure legalizing marijuana use and possession for adults will go into effect, but one place it won't have much grip on is college campuses. When it comes to pot, there will be no high in higher education in Colorado. "In order not to lose federal funds," said University of Colorado at Boulder spokeswoman Malinda Hiller-Huey, "we need to comply with federal law." http://www.denverpost.com/politics-natio...e-campuses

I agree with you, when the law passed last month the state dropped hundreds of possession charges of people that hadn't gone to court yet and were waiting for trial, for marijuana possession. I didn't think it would pass this round because it took so many times for medical marijuana but glad it did. news says federal government is still going to try to block it from going through for sale by the state. I say get over it already...it's a matter of time before it happens. I went to Cali last month and saw some glass pieces that were 1200.00 I couldn't believe that!

Less than 3 weeks and the holidays and 2012 will be up in smoke; this year really got away from me...

Thats what everyone says about this time of year. I think shorter and less daylight makes us think like that though.
