We got 11 inches of snow today.

It's fair dinkum raining buckets this morning. They're predicting a foot of rain for the next 24 hours. Should be a bit of flooding on the mid north coast again...

Yep. 300mm of rain in the next 24-36 hours. I've tipped almost a hundred millimetres (4 inches) out of my gauge already today and it hasn't let up. Heavier to the north of us though by the look of the radar.

What winter?
This winter has been the mildest that I can remember. It's freaking gorgeous outside. It's 63 degrees out and it's supposed to hit 70 by Friday. No bad weather in site. Commando Cunt Queen

This will be affecting some of our Members. A vicious winter storm bringing strong winds and heavy snow has battered much of the Midwest today, making travel a messy, dangerous, and at times, deadly endeavor as it churns its way towards the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast regions of the country. This is where it's been - Wisconsin Minnesota - Minneapolis

We got about 10" where I live.
Nothing like a March snowstorm. Took the kids sliding this morning. Had a blast.

It's 82.
This Friday I'm off to see the Giants put the hurt on the Dodgers. Probably ride my bike to the stadium. Love me some Cactus League Spring Training weather.

Last year the Old Man made nary an appearance. We hit 60F in January (never before). We had 3 days of 80+ in March (never had hit 80F ONCE in March). Quite frankly, I was worried. Was Armaggedon around the corner? Snow is also a lot of fun, more so when your kids get to play in it. Brings back great memories. So, long story even longer, go ahead Tiki, bask in your sun. We should hit 82 around here sometime in Mid/Late May.

I was skiing in Flagstaff, with the old gang during President's Week. I love being 2 1⁄2 hours from a ski resort and then back to shorts, flip-slops and a pool. My girls reminded me of my love for bush during my college days. I was just experimenting . . . I wonder if Kate still tours? (Just for you Spy: I skied the bumps to AC/DC's Thunderstruck!)

Kate Bush- Running Up That Hill ?? It's one of 1500+ on my device, as is 'Thunderstruck'. Sounds like a great time was had by all, and have you ever really lost your love of Bush?

It's 70 degrees here; cloudbusting through the sun, off and on all day. I like the sun coming out; oooh I just know something good is gonna happen.
I hope this weather holds up. I need to get out in the garden this weekend. Long overdue. Last time, I hid my yo yo in the garden. I won't forget.

It's gonna slam us here in Maryland and I'm ready. We'll just hunker down with the Generator and BBQ Grill and wait it out until the power comes back on.

It's raining its ass off here - sideways. I see what's going on in DC so I know it's only a matter of time before it's here. Fucking hell.

Both spans of the Bay Bridge over the Chesapeake have closed. I don't think that was done when Hurricane Sandy came up the coast. The wind is roaring here.
