Dear Maggot,
1. Why does the "Annoying Celebrities" thread always play tricks?
When I click on the thread title from the main Mock page, it takes me to the first post of the thread (instead of the last, which is how all the other thread titles work). Also, it says that Jimbone is the last poster, but currently the last post in the thread is actually by ramseycat. Same thing happens whether I'm sober, drunk, high, using IE or Firefox and anytime there are new comments posted there (not just April 1).
The problem is of no real inconvenience whatsoever given the thread content, just curious.
2. Why do fools fall in love?
3. Why do birds sing so gay?
TIA.

(1) I went around and clicked on a bunch of thread titles and they all went to the first post. The arrow does not show up in that thread I dont know. Maybe the Indians are running a casino now?
(2) The key clue here is "fools"
(3) Because they have nice people like you too fill their birdfeeders.

Now, it's working like the other threads; when I click on the title, it goes to your last post in the thread. Magic maybe.
(2) Ah ha.
(3) I've gotta stop doing that...

Indians = Red Man = the new color of Maggot's name.
Coincidence?

Why is it that the minute you put an empty box down on the floor, the cat will come running out of nowhere and jump inside??

They are hoping you tape it up quick and kick it around the house, or better yet toss it in the dryer for some real fun.

While we wait for Ms. Adub to get back with you...
Username and I are curious about how Obama's (everything old is new again) policy to allow consumers with less-than-acceptable credit to qualify for home loans either supports or deviates from his banking reform policies.
TIA.

Thank you, Tiki.
I've never prescribed to the "ignorance is bliss" philosophy outside of petty social matters, but I'm starting to understand the appeal when it comes to politics. Still wouldn't personally swallow that pill, but increasingly understand why a lot of people do.
Talk about a buzz kill. Never believed that history is doomed to repeat itself, still don't. But, in my humble (and currently tipsy) opinion , avoiding it requires a conscious and knowledgeable effort to honestly understand and accept responsibility for the mistakes of the past and their repercussions (whether it be personally, politically, or as a society). That ain't happening here and, to me, it's a very serious and scary economic prospect.
Can't do the outdoor uphill walk tonight, so I'm gonna step indoors. Frank Zappa on the tt. Yeah, that'll help with the political aggravation! At least I'll feel justified. Lumpy Gravy...

I keep hoping it's only a stammer.
But then I keep hoping that the Raiders and Cubs will come through, too.

What is Maggot doing in Florida? Hopefully he's not stranded out on an airboat tour.

I don't think he said what he's doing when he posted about the swamps there.
Doesn't seem he's liking the swamps much. Hopefully he's liking some other things there.
Only been to Florida twice; just Orlando. I liked it, but didn't like the plane ride home the morning after Pleasure Island.

Sally I have learned that Geckos tails fall off and they love golf.
Canals are a haven for gotors and large turtles,
The new Mustangs are very fast,
Every stupid traffic light has a camera
I have more but for now you look good in black.

You sure picked a great time to go to Florida.
You can set your clock by the afternoon downpour that'll strike the Orlando area around 1:00 every afternoon.
Sounds like you're golfing?
Hope you're having fun.
